Pikuniku New Easy Village Skip
I was recommended a video by mithytrix called Pikuniku flying away (glitch). It showed them doing this exact same thing at the lake in the post game. After watching their video I knew the same thing must be possible in the village too. Low and behold it works; an easy village skip. We already knew that you could fuse with npc's to fly but it was really difficult to do as the only setup we had involved going through a door, it wasn't consistent at all. After finding out that the blue villager is just tall enough that you can't kicked away I knew this had to be the hot new village skip. This isn't a tutorial video because I will be going over all of the village skips in my updated tutorial video for village skip in the future and I will include this as well. I finally killed NVS, there's no reason to not do village skip now because it is so easy. NMSG is now the superior category that has the village in it now. NVS=No VIllage Skip. NMSG =No Major Skips Glitchless
tldr; Someone's video helped me find a new trick. Just stand on the blue villager kick them till they are angry. Make sure they can't kick you off, fly to victory.

The most noticeable improvement is the Mines where I managed to nail all the tricks but I accidentally used the water hat once out of panic. Over most of the run there was no mistakes but a couple spots in the late game I did choke a couple movements. This is another run uploaded because I got a best split and still yet no one has submitted a time. One more spot and the whole Adventure mode leaderboard will be mine lol. This is what an ideal village segment should look like though. The only thing that could make it faster is if the green villager would cooperate for a villager boost.

Anyone who plays the game casually could do this category. It takes the most developer intended route you can do(There is one skip in the mine that is permitted, due to it just being possible by developer oversight. This has been sitting around in my videos for a while and I completely forgot about it. May as well get it on the leaderboards. Best way to beat this would be to get a run with switch skip first try. This is one of the few runs that could actually manage to get the fast mushroom bounces and do everything else quickly. I swear that bounce feels so luck based,. So I have been grinding any% for about a week now trying improve my pb and I somehow got the luckiest cave. I was expecting my next cave pb to be 47.4xx but this was definitely unexpected. Soooo close to 46, but I don't think this will be beaten any time soon.

I found this out completely by accident. The act of standing up from a crouch makes Piku jump higher than normal.

It is so cool how some people can practice and speedrun an almost unknown game and make it cooler than a ‘normal’ speedrun.
