The car was his son's, who got drafted to vietnam, and never came home.. I never asked him again.. 10 years later, he was sick and dying, his wife called me and told me he wanted to talk to me.. So i went to the hospital, and he gave me the title, and all he asked in return, was for me to look after his wife, help her clean up their place to sell it.. Patience is key.. I can relate to that. My dad was killed in car accident in 1987. I was 11 and I was the oldest of his 5 kids. He had a 1972 4x4 full size chevy truck he loved that broke down a sat in yard for year before accident. 1-2 times week someone would stop to try buying it. It's still sitting cause we have plans to restore it but we wouldn't ever sell it and been offered more than double what it's worth.
