Nice gear review Kyle, considering you can purchase this rod from BCF it’s actually priced really well, compared to buying online and having shipped from Japan, it’s only 30 or so more bucks from BCF and one would anticipate shipping would be much quicker and you get a 12 month warranty buying from an Aussie retailer which you forego when buying internationally, in my opinion that’s worth the extra money in itself., good looking rod, enjoyed the video 👍🏼

Hey can you please confirm for me that I can hear a car doing a burnout at the start of this and that you guys are fishing off a jetty in a major urban area,(I dont want to know where) but if that is the case that is awesome considering your success. Certainly getting in amongst the snags to get the cod, fantastic viewing. I'm seriously looking at one of these kayaks after watching your videos and others. Do you have the underneath keel fin on when navigating the rivers as I imagine it being the lowest point that it could get caught up or make the floor rise up and over the snag? I understand that it does help heaps when paddling for tracking straight but not sure if it would be needed as much using a motor? Cheers Dave

Gday mate, sorry I’m late, I started watching when it first came out but had some problems come up in life (our car has a broken suspension on the left and a broken transmission…) so I’m only finishing the video now! I absolutely love me yak, we’ve had 3 people in it. Me, me dad and me 5yo brother, all together about 180-190 kilos and we were completely fine! It’s a bit squishy for lure flicking with that many people but fine for bait! Have you ever had any problems with the oar being a bit short and completely soaking the shit outta your self? G'day mate. I'll definitely be purchasing one of these. It's a pity it doesn't come with a swivel seat. Would eliminate the reaching back for motor controls. I have seen one with a milk crate for a, seat. It worked OK.

Trial and error for battery time. Probably do a timed session in a less stressful environment. Does your motor have a digital battery reading?

Thanks for taking the time to put the video together and especially for the tip about putting the seat forward for the more hefty types : I've got the HD330 too (only had it out once and even then only paddling) but my battery is considerably smaller - Lithium 12.8V 25AH - while my Watersnake (54 Thrust) looks larger than yours? For a total novice, would you have any idea what approximate run time I'd have my inflatable rig with that battery? I'm old, overweight and unfit so I'm trying to avoid getting caught downstream with a flat battery 😆

So just picked up one of these. My second drop-stitch inflatable. I got it so I could mount a watersnake .I have a 44lb one. But, I've been thinking about the seating as the included one is pretty low. I'm looking at your set up. Are you just sitting on a milk crate with a chair mounted on top of it? is it tied down in any way?
