It would be too old and why would someone want spruce planks from a grandmother tree, the tree that supports the micro-ecosystem of the surrounding trees, sequestered carbon, and creates habitat for us all? That is a one track mind that has destroyed much of our economy, sir. Respect Mother Nature or she will demand respect. A good example of this is the super-hurricanes and horrific wildfires all over the world. Mother Nature will always be in charge. Respect or not, we rely on the trees for actual life. Your mentality is why we have to create climate laws.
