InfinityUSEA yes , it does. I’ve spoken with Matt at Spires Tuning. I have a xk and will be upgrading my exhaust as well.

InfinityUSEA xk may be louder since the “non active” stage 3 exhaust is only compatible for the Jaguar XK. “Active” systems are not compatible with NA engines (XK), only for Super Charged (XKRs). In “non active” exhaust, the flaps would be open indefinitely while in active exhaust , you can turn off/on flaps using the dynamic button.

The HRE XKR how long did it take for production and shipping?

@@AboveThaTop I talked to spires on their Facebook website. They sent me their PayPal Info and I had it in less than a week if I recall from the UK. It’s not cheap. But it sounds like that stock cats no other changes original stock Xkr tune!!

Michel Seiler these are P101’s by a company called HRE out of San Diego California. They make them only after you pay the 10k price tag.... so there is a bit of a wait as well. They are worth every penny! 18 pounds each and solid - they never get warped! The car accelerates faster and stops on a dime. Google HRE wheels. You can specify the colors and so on and so forth. HRE has 2 measurements for the XK- standard and aggressive.. this is the aggressive and it really fills the wheel well out nicely giving an amazing stance!

Nick Clarke this is the always loud version. It’s loud on freeway but never intrusive... I use this car as my daily 70-90mph 100 miles per day!! Love it!!

Changalang Productions initially the XKRS felt way different in acceleration and handling. Much more crisp! And was way louder then the XKR. Then I made a few bolt on upgrades to the beater ... the HRE rims dropped 80 pounds of unsprung weight and I changed tires from Dunlop’s to Michelin Pilot 4S’s. Then the exhaust was changed to the louder less restrictive Spires Stage 3. Then dropped about 30 more pounds, added MORE snaps and crackles and pops and a growl similar to a Mustang while at the same time adding 15hp. The effect has made the HRE feel as fast as the XKRS! The suspension was not lowered however - the wheels do stick out more as they are larger rims on the XKR (the rear wheels are 11 inches vs 10.5 on the RS). I could lower it but I’m unsure if it would start rubbing as right now no rubbing. The RS still feels more stable as it’s suspension is upgraded and the 550hp tune and transmission “uprating” is not on the XKR and there would give the RS still the edge - but only slightly. The real question is - what would the RS be like with HRE rims and a LOUDER less heavy exhaust?! Hmmmmm ;)

Nope that is a stock XKR-S bought new. I'm only modding the XKR which I bought used.
