The vid was funny but it's not good that in the 2 days since it's been announced, someone has already been able to make a complete replica of the entire update. What are you doing mojang the rest of the time?
mojang doesnt really have control over how much they can work
complete replica of the entire update? what are you on? this is a horribly dumbed down version of a single biome and mob, and probably a total of 4-5 blocks from said biome, the textures all look like ass, the creaking doesnt function even remotely like how it will in the actual update, hell they didnt even include one of its most notable features, that it only moves when youre not looking at it, this thing is basically just a reskinned zombie with increased movement speed and dies when you break a block lmao
First off. Mojang is releasing smaller updates at a higher frequency. immediately disproved your ""LAZY"" comment. second off. Game development takes much longer, they have to design stuff, remaking an update is 20x easier cuz they know what to make from the get-go. Maybe instead of dunking on a game studio for making a game. try and respect how you prob couldn't make this update in a year and a half.
