How to care for your new Monstera Thai Constellation from Fuzzy Roots!
Thank you Always nice to see behind the scenes and where I plants come from.
Thanks , I really want to start making more content
Beautiful sharing my friend
What pesticides do you use and how often?!
Hi Tiffany. Care requirements for Jose Bueno and Paraiso Verde please😊 Thank you.
Hi there both of those have the same requirements, keep in about 50% shade or bright indirect light, I would highly recommend giving them a pole to climb as they grow so much bigger when allowed to climb. My best tip for watering is to stick your finger into the pot to check the dampness of the inside middle area of the pot if its damp dont water if its dry then you can go ahead and give your plant a good watering. Also dont forget to give your plants a good feed with fertilizer of your choice
@@fuzzyrootssouthafrica thank you so much❤
I quite like the weird looking ones but I thing is happening from overfeeding...got shocked. Les sometimes means more 😊...
That’s for the informative video. Glad I found you guys. Can’t wait to start ordering new plants
Awesome! Thank you!
Where can I buy that?
There a few different places to order from but for smaller qty of preditory mites in SA try local grow stores but Koppert supply me in bulk now
What could you use instead of betadine? Is it necessary?
Any antifungal plant solution could work, just make a very diluted solution to dip the plants in
What’s the reasoning behind using spag peat moss and not something like coco peat or coco coir? Is the peat moss not too acidic?
The Sphagnum peat moss has more anti fungal properties than coco I think the acidic properties may be why but I would need to research this more
What's the variegated anthurium at 19:59?
I have 2 I am not 100% sure which you are referring to, The anthurium vittarifolium var or the green on green anthurium veitchii
Thank you soooooooo much for this video!!!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
You are so welcome!
From where you bought the tissue culture plant
They come from Thailand
Thank you for the imformative video! As a newbie, I now feel ready to try deflasking a thai con! <3
Good luck please let us know how your experience goes
Do you plan on doing a Christmas give away? I think giving away one Thai Con would be a super cool idea.
Its a bit late I did do a Christmas give away but it was a random cutting box to 10 people I will do some more you tube give aways soon
Beautiful collection
Thanks a lot
I'm ready... 😍
I will post some available when they settled in their pots
❤
Wow! That dieffenbachia has moved onto my wishlist 🎉. It is jaw droppingly gorgeous 😍
It is so underrated and really not that expensive
@@fuzzyrootssouthafrica do you have for sale?
I need to ask for a Syngonium collection tour 😂😂
That i can definitely do that, I have some special Syngoniums coming mid September and I will wait to include them on that video
Lovely collection. Stunning plants❤😊😮
Thanks so much 😊
Such a stunning collection! This is what plant dreams are made of! And lovely set up too, it's like a dream plant nursery!! 💚🪴 My favourite has to be the Domesticum Variegata! 😍🙌🏻🌞
Thank you so much, its taken lots of sweat and a few tears but I just love my collection and I am so blessed my husband built and installed all the irrigation for me in my greenhouse x
You have an insane collection!!! It’s so beautiful
Thank you so much!!
That whipple way is to die for😭😭😭
Hopefully I will make lots of props that I can share in the community
They're all so beautiful Tiffany 🤎 the dieffenbachia is such a stunner✨ ...and who doesn't love a plant that "thrives on neglect"😂 but if I had to pick one, I think it would be the red moon for me 😍
That Red moon still takes my breath away, I will let you know when the babies start showing some red x
Thanks so much Tiffany!
*promosm*
😍😍😍
Is the anthurium warocqueanun for sale?
Not that one, but I have a bunch coming in with the September pre order x
Your audio is in an out. Low! You should invest in one of those cordless microphone’s.
Thanks I will do its a new channel but looking into all these things
How much does one pay for the Mosaic Virus testing? I also have a weird adansonii in quarantine - the thing spontaneously developed 'variegation' which can't be actual veriegation and now I am paranoid.
In South Africa I paid R920.00 to the Stellenbosch Plant clinic but I sent cuttings of 2 different plants
Learning so much from these videos, thanks Tiffany! Looking forward to an adansonii albo from you one day ❤️
Thanks Peter looking forward to your visit to the greenhouse and I can show you the ones we have
Wow, such an awesome video- when seeing them up close, one can really see the difference between all the forms, thank you! I have also heard the terms ,"wide form," and "narrow form", from your knowledge, are these synonymous with large and small form? 💚
Yes wide as in large and narrow as in the regular size
What did you use to make the soil medium??
Hi @roseyreefs6148 i use a mixture of sphagnum peat moss pearlite and pumice for the tissue culture medium
Where can one get dried kelp, zeolite, activated carbon?
We stock all of these on our website - fuzzyroots.co.za/product-category/plant-extras/
Very Informative,Thank you !
Glad it was helpful! Thanks Taryn
Are these from seeds?
These are grown from tissue cultures!
I need alllllll of those syngoniums! Stunning!
Thank you, I will be doing a Syngonium video soon x
Those Gloriosums are just 👌. Could you please do a video on how you take care of plants in LECA 💚🙏
that is a wonderful idea, I will work on some leca content , thanks so much for the feedback
What kind of light should the cup be under?
It should be in bright indirect light
Awesome, Thanks!
Does the cup have a hole at the bottom of it for drainage. I have a baby Thai just like this one. Please help. Happy planting ♥️
Hi the plant cup for acclimation does not have a hole at the bottom use just damp media before acclimating
Hi no holes, in the cup, remember the plant is going from a wet jelly so they already have a type of water root
【promosm】 👌
Where do you buy your pumice? 🌿
takealot ... unfortunately
What’s your website called? Sorry if it said somewhere on the video I couldn’t find it
Sorry my website is www.fuzzyroots.co.za
How long does it take them to start putting out bigger leaves?
Hi I think that depends on a number of factors, light temperature, humidity, plant feed etc. But I find I get on average 1 leaf a month that increases 15 to 20% in size each time.
