Documenting the process of learning how to fly a paramotor and the journey into the sky. I like so many others have always had the dream of being able to fly ever since I was a little kid. Finally in my mid 40s I decided to make my dreams come true and decided to learn how to fly a Paramotor. Honestly it was one of the best decisions I have made and love every minute of being in the air. I simply want to share what it is like for those who aspire and dream the same dreams, or for those who would like to experience it as close as possible from a the point of view of a pilot.
After becoming an instructor I now operate a school in Central Alberta and share my passion with new pilots with the same dream! Visit my website at www.paramotorsportscanada.ca/

Paramotor PRO-TIPS on cold weather flying- Product review of the Sabot Heated gloves
Переглядів 1,8 тис.3 роки тому
The reality is that outside the 3 months of summer in Canada, Paramotor pilots will need to learn ways to stay warm to extend their flying season to year round! Heated gloves have become a must for me. In this video we will highlight the Sabot Heated Gloves and also look other brands I have tried over the years. Sabot Heated gloves provided me these gloves free of charge to try out with the hop...

I travelled thousands of mile through the air, 900 Nautical Miles by sea, and hundreds of mile on land to get to one of the World's largest Paramotor Training Schools!! Sailing 900 NM from Virginia to Florida is only faster than walking! After nearly weeks at sea sailing day and night, I travelled to Aviator PPG in Florida. Come along for the journey! www.paramotorsportscanada.ca/
Flying a Paramotor all year long!
Переглядів 8653 роки тому
Flying a Paramotor all year long in Canada is no problem as long as you dress for the weather. Can't believe it is November and there is still no snow! It's been awhile since I have posted any videos as it was a busy summer of training and nowhere to go with the border closed. The world is once again opening up which will hopefully lead to some more great adventures. Today I hooked up the 27m D...

I was told this was the first Dudek Nucleon 4 in North America, could this be true? Either way it was a treat to be able to give it fly and take you along for the first time. Hope you enjoy and get a good idea of what the wing is like. www.paramotorsportscanada.ca/ NVolo Helmet www.paramotorsportscanada.ca/product-page/nvolo-paramotor-helmet
Paramotor on skies?! Final days of Ice flying
Переглядів 2,1 тис.3 роки тому
A huge frozen lake makes for a great playground to fly a Paramotor in the winter. Ski makes it super easy even in the deep snow. As spring is just around the corner I had to take advantage of some final days of ice flying before it all melts away. www.paramotorsportscanada.ca/
First time flying a Paramotor with skis!
Переглядів 2,9 тис.3 роки тому
With the prolonged winter months in Canada it was time to try out the options of flying with skis. In this video I take my first first flight on my new KX1 trike using the stirrup ski option. After taking a couple loops around the field to get a feel for the everything, the only thing to do was go for it!!! Hope you enjoy. Testing out the HERO 8- secret for great live audio
This was great thanks.
Nice video, but Solo is far from being so advanced wing to need hundreds of hrs befor flying it. Dudek Solo is the first wing which every pilot should get after the school and exams. After hundreds of hrs as you are saying it might be the Dudek Snake but NOT the Solo :) In Poland where Dudek paragliders are from usually the school is being done on Universal 1.1 and then pilots are upgrading to Solo (thats only after max 25 - 30 hrs of total flight time on Universal).
hahaha, loved it!
Love the narrative! For all the good reasons LOL
Great video thanks sir!
Love that song you are singing Jason💕
Exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks.
Ive commented 4 years ago. I was wanting info on how to contact this Wayne guy, and i still am.
3:50 You mean, when you see that the earth is actually flat? 😆
That looks so Awesome could you recommend me a beginner paramotor set up? I’m on the west coast. Could you recommend me a link for learning thx 🙏🏼
Hey don't tell the rest that winter offers some of the best flying conditions eh?! Haha! Man I want to sign up for a tandem or introductory!
What's your all up weight and what size wing? If you ever come back to Florida let me know. We can fly
Any idea what your rpm is at max power with the wooden prop?
thats a c wing bro.
Do you need a lichens to fly ?
That was great information thank you. Not many people make it that clear.
OMG ~ do you have some kind of financial interests in some of these paramotor companies? I totally have to do this now! And daughters want to go up too! :^)
How much do you weigh? Thanks
205lbs when I get out of the shower
How much does it cost this hobby?
I understand a guy could stay on a beginner wing forever if that's what they desire but if you had to guess about how many flights before someone could step up to a B rated wing?
Every pilot has different skills and levels of progression. Maybe somewhere in the area of 200hrs
Amazing landing!! How do you know what direction wind is blowing when emergency landing?
I usually bookmark the wind direction when I launch as it will typically be the same direction during the flight. I also check landmarks along the way like flags, bodies of water, and any smoke in the area.
Good to see you ! if you come by Northwest Louisiana , near Kyle O's let me know.
Reason ONE: COLLAPSABLE Wing.
Lovely video! Like to take the course
Jason, it was good to meet you that evening after you landed. I have been watching your videos for years, and they have been a big help. Thanks! Enjoy your travels! Bill (OpenPPG guy)
Great to meet you as well and hope to fly with you one day!
looks like an epic adventure !
Thank you for talking me out of para-motor. You have no idea of how much money you saved me!!!! I wish I saw this three years ago as I could have also saved so much time wasted in pursuing/ researching this ridiculous idea and countless hours of videos. ps love your dry sense of humor and naming of video, and happy to be a new subscriber and supper thumbs up!
Get yourself a tan while you can. 👍✌️

ParamotorMahoney flys a kangook and He has a UA-cam channel he lives and flys in south Florida.
such a good video
I don’t see the vest/gloves combo setup you have. I saw the motion heat gloves but not the vest setup. I like the idea of having thinner heated liners and then take on and off heavier outer shells as needed. For a flight suit you should check to tobe onesies!
I like it!
man I got that same footage. we weren't even together at that point.
Great to see you back. I just learned to fly paramotor this year. I bought a used Fresh Breeze 4 wheel setup about 5 hrs flight time and loving it .Perhaps I will look you up when visiting family in Grande Prairie next year. Cheers . P.S From Southern Ontario
Awesome footage! Hopefully you also took your golf clubs down there??? 😅
It was great meeting you at the Fly-in. You were part of my inspiration that got me into this sport.
Glad your back, I Gotta do the same.
Amazing ground
Loving that 360 footage! Good to meet you in Southern Utah! - Ben
Thanks for the shout out!..........Great to meet you in person!!
Great to see you again. Fly safe!
You're alive! Fly guy, fly! You are such an inspiration to me. PPG pilot as of May this year. Cheers buddy.
Very cool!!!
Glad to see you back online. Take care.
Thanks Jason! It's a great pleasure to see my products flown in such beaytiful places by nice persons like you.
Good to see you still around man
Honestly, the format might be really good for your content.
How can any vids of you flying aroundbe a bad thing? Great job. Keep em coming.
Seems you're not using 2D steering correctly: first of all, you're constantly applying pressure, which manual says not to do. Second, you turn by using middle breaks instead of wing tips. To use wing tips you have to pull down along your body. Wing tips are super effective and pleasure to use. Other than that, I also hate all these magnets and the fact that wrong magnets constantly stick to wrong places during ground handling.
