absolutelty hypnotising i didn't move for 4 minutes just watching everyone pull over for you. that must be a proper good build to keep going at full tilt for so long without cooking the brakes
Thanks. Yeah that Mini has probably +40-60hp which can be seen on straights. But a good driver in that car for sure and a good driving standard which can't be said about everyone on the track yesterday 😂
Good video, that pesky grey mini looked fast. 😉
What is your reason switching to 300V 5w30 from 8100 Power 5w30 that can be seen in your previous videos? Nice driving btw!
Hey thanks. I do oil analysis every time I change oil (2-3 track days depending on how hard the day was) and found that the 8100 Power has more detergents but less anti-wear/antifriction materials. My engine works very hard, spending most of the time in the upper quarter of the RPM range, just wanted to ensure the oil I use has plenty of ZDDP in it. The reason I want it to have high ZDDP is because of the inherent issues with these boxer engines in right hand turns when it briefly starves and having a layer of Zinc for that brief moment sounds like a good remediation plan, in addition to overfilling of course. I post oil analysis data on the gt86ownersclub "Oil Analysis 0W20" topic. Hope this helps.
@@azixaka Sure, thank you for your detailed answer. Will definitely check them out. Btw, do you think the 300V is suitable for the street too? Like for 70% street (everyday and spirited driving) and 30% track usage? There are several discussions about this.
@@danielbarlaszabo3821 It's perfectly normal to use it on the road. Just bear in mind it has significantly fewer detergents. So it's designed for "bursts of stress" under high temperatures etc but not for longevity. Ie it is not the oil to change once a year. There are no definite guidelines but I'd personally say it shouldn't stay in your engine for longer than 3 months.
@@azixaka Yeah clear! I feel like this is one of the most extreme oils you can run on a stock engine. For your usage, it is necessary I would say for sure, but sounds like too much in my case. Car is stock too, lateral forces are much much lower. Do you think the 5W30 Power is a good compromise? Like is it enough in this case that I described? I Compared the Power 5W30 to an other normal motul 5w30 based on the technical data sheet, and it does not seem to have much better dynamic properties at all. Sadly there are not any oil analysis with the power 5w30, so the factory technical sheet is the only I could work with.
@@danielbarlaszabo3821Yes I run Power 8100 5w30 for a while and have lots of if analyses done, again that topic on that forum mentioned above. You can absolutely run any quality oil man, if not pushing that much any good quality will do. 8100 Power is probably one of the top ones and definitely suitable for track days. I'd stick to it if you're not into changing your oil a few times per year.

Samir, you yave wrecked the car!
Nice!
🔥💫👏👏👏
Wow awesome lap! You look to be really pushing ! Liking the onboard camera as well
Nice lap ! Really pushing out there
It's cool 🎉
Looks fast ! Really pushing out there nice lap :)
Nice lap, the 86 with some basic mods makes an excellent track car.
Thank you. It was my first time at Bedford and in a couple of corners I wasn't sure whether it is a right or a left turn. 😀The biggest bottleneck I found is brakes, they last just one lap and then fade substantially. I put new brake pads, tuned the ECU at once and will be back at Bedford on 20/05!
Как будто в небо виежешься таа низко облака.😮
Дух захватывает!
