Driveway/Road Screw up!?
Переглядів 1,8 тис.2 роки тому
I ordered 1' 1/4 clean rock. Big mistake with a Geotech base. Ended up costing us about $4,000! to fix with tailings including the tailings, skid steer and operator and myself. Live and learn. We put down the Geotech so that we do not have to refresh with rock every couple of years. Everything worked out and the drive is firm and smooth.

Just a quick video on what happens the day of! We had GEO Report done prior to footings and Pad construction. Since moving to OK we have noticed that foundation issues seem to be normal and do not want to fix the pad and foundation in a couple years. It is expensive after the build. We think a lot of people do not because they fear having to spend more up front. Way cheaper now then later! We a...

Renea this is not for you!!! We are cleaning up the land in preparation of cattle coming in 2 weeks. Under the tires are the snakes. So we decided to use the pallet forks and lift while she stood guard with the snake shot. Did not catch the actual shot on video. Sucks but you see then end result.
Badboy 4025 Review W Backhoe
Переглядів 21 тис.3 роки тому
I have had a few questions about the Badboy 4025. Here is a review after 80 hours. I am new to tractors so if I left anything out you want to know, ask away! Overall the 4025 does what they say and is a "small" tractor on a larger frame and definitely performs that way.
Step 2 if necessary. Tractor stuck in the mud.

That's why I'm just going to get the harbor freight backhoe
I thought it looked fine from the start but I've yet to start my project which is a might bit shorter than your's. I think I would have my gravel layout done and allowing to settle down before the second round of crushed assault. But I need to study my project before I get started as it will be two driveways one to the cabin and the other to my staging area for equipment. Ill do most of it myself using my Big Boy 25 with loader !
Looking seriously at the 4025.. After a lot of research i keep coming back to Badboy.. Thanks for the review!
Nice
When you bush hog shuttle shift
Compact tractors, don’t have that
Great video I was nervous buying a brand that didn’t actually make their own brand. But I just purchased the 4025 the other day for our home on 10 acres and also bush hogging on other property’s we own and deer hunt. I also got the pallet forks. I came from a jd750 2wd with no bucket so i will have a huge advantage now.
Awesome! it is a hell of a tractor. Been great for us and running perfect after 400+ Hours!
What does all of this cost about?
For all of the attachments we now have we are in it about $31k.
How deep does the backhoe dig
8-9 feet
like "Realy " 7.5 feet ( maybe) straight down,& NOT 8-9 FEET!
Should I go for the 3026 or the 4026, they have the same size engine. How much is the backhoe attachment, so I can dicker with the sales guy...😂
Sorry for the delayed response. Which one did you go with? Had I answered in a timely manner I would have said 4025 Because of the frame and extra weight that can be lifted if needed. Cant quiet remember I think at the time it was around $7,000
Great review, very useful information. I just moved to southern Missouri and bought a small 40 acre homestead, looking at the Bad Boy 4025 for working it. Did you end up liking and keeping the backhoe? I was kind of hoping the backhoe would turn out to be useful for small excavation jobs, just not sure if the small engine size would be inadequate to properly run it.
Sorry about the slow response. Yes I did keep the back hoe and it has been more useful then I originally thought. Plenty of power for a 40 acre ranch. We where originally on 60 and now up to 150 and it is plenty for most work. We may go bigger in the next few years. But it is a great Tractor.
There are so many tractor brands right now
Just remember farmtrac. They started making tractors and went out of business. Brands like John Deere, Kubota, New Holland, and case won’t go out of business and you know what is and isn’t reliable. You’ll spend more money trying to get parts if they go out of business than you paid for it. Always go with the old, trusted brands. You do you but that’s my opinion Either way nice tractor!
Thanks for your video. I'm looking at a 4025 also and wanted to know if you could comment on how it does with the large round hay bales? That's my main concern. Thanks!
No issues at all! I don’t have any extra weight on the back, I do put the Brushhog on when I left them. As far as lifting and moving it’s like nothing is there!
@@warnerfamilyfarm1136 thank you so much!
Branson made and Bransons are Cheaper
Can you have these serviced at a Branson or even TYM dealer or does it need to go to a BadBoy dealer?
I would think that depends on the dealer. My local TYM dealer will service this or just about any tractor.
@@warnerfamilyfarm1136 Thank you for your reply! I guess I should have clarified for warranty work.
@@TexasRedneck I’m not sure. I have had no work other then the standard service done. I did have a shock that holds the hood up go out and am sending it in soon for a 250 service. I’ll ask the local guy about the warranty work and let you know when I get a response.
Ah man. As a property owner myself - Snake are good. Mice live in the wild and if not undercontrol will find a way into your house. Snake are harmless and are your best defense for any small rodents. You can't stop mice, they live and reproduce too quickly - we haven't had a mouse issue as we keep areas they live to a minimum and allow snakes, skunks and random cats and foxes to roam our property. Snakes can fit in the holes mice create and are mostly animals that stay out of site. With all that overgrowth you guys def. have a ton of mice that you don't see.
Sounds like you like snakes. They serve a purpose no doubt. At our property a dead snake is a good snake if they are near the home we are building or where the kids and animals are they will be shot.
I have a Branson 2515h. What size is your bush hog? Also what range are you running in when hogging? I have a 4 ft I try and run in midrange and it bogs down. Just curious what others are running. Nice tractor!
I have a 5 ft and run in mid as well. Rarely bog down unless I get in some of the real thick buffalo grass we have.
Didn’t realize Bad Boy offered tractors. Regarding the backhoe, if this is a must have feature would you have bought a different brand that offers quick connect? I have a Kubota B2650 with a BH77 backhoe ( very happy with it). Takes about 5 minutes to attach / detach the backhoe. Just curious. I’m reading about Bad Boys now to see what they offer.
Great question. I think I would still go without. Even though that is my biggest complaint. After having it for a time it has its uses but never truly a needed that min tool like a brush hog or pallet jacks. I would wait and have 5 or 6 needs for a back hoe and rent a mini x for a couple days to get those jobs done.
@@warnerfamilyfarm1136 First thing I did when I received my backhoe was dig a 3' wide by 30' trench in the rear of my 1 acre yard - essentially until I was bored ... I then filled it in because I had a loader and that is what loaders do. Yes, I'm one of those who doesn't need a tractor but wanted a tractor. My dealer said people like me are 1/2 his business :) Call my B2650 my orange wheelbarrow as it can do so much saving me aches, pains and time. Thanks for sharing the video. Just checked out the Bad Boy tractors which led me to reading about Branson as well. Always good to know the market. Take care.
Bad boy tractors are Branson tractors rebranded
bad boy and branson are owned by Kukje Machinery
TYM is the parent company.
Keep the videos coming. I’m between this and a yanmar. My dealer has yet to get these on the lot
Any particular questions? I will gladly do a video on it here. Major difference would be BadBoy can be a smaller horsepower then the Yanmar because of the larger frame the 4025 sits on. Which typically means less money.

That Badboy looks exactly like my Branson. Nice looking Tractor
My understanding is it is exactly the same with the one exception being this model sits on a larger frame to give it more lift capacity. And the Color!
@@warnerfamilyfarm1136 same frame and lift capacity as the Branson 2515. Love mine. An Everything Attachments Wicked Toothbar and Wicked Grapple transformed my tractor into a whole other beast. I have the Branson equivalent of yours.
its a Branson 2515 just in orange.
I own the same tractor and it’s working out great. I went with the grappler and it’s my favorite attachment. Already had a widow maker fall and hit my hood denting it. I now wear a hard hat when clearing out my underbrush.
Grapple would be a great addition as well. Yikes. No dents here yet. The grill guard, bar across the top saved ours from its 1st dent!
Glad someone finally posted a bad boy tractor review. I’m also looking into the 4025 for my 10 acres. I could get by with the 20 or 30 series but the hydraulic power on the 40 series would come in handy for me. I don’t think I need more than the 24hp this provides, but I have pondered the 4035.
When we bought the 90 next door I looked at the 4035 as well but the specs are almost identical. Lift capacity is the same. Maybe a bit more hp for your PTO but we used this to knock down 65 acres of rag week and some buffalo grass. Only difference is that they will enclose to 4035. They won't enclose the 4045 either! So I will stay put for the next year because we would have to go to another manufacturer and Im really liking this bad boy.
@@warnerfamilyfarm1136 main reason I am considering the 4035 over the 4025 is bc my 10 acres is mostly wooded and I have a lot of clearing to do. I figured the extra HP could come in handy for pushing over/pulling logs.
@@CoffeeNo0b0514 ahh! Makes sense. We just had 3 acres cleared for our home sight by a guy with a dozer and excavator. Depending on the tree size im not sure the 35 or even the 45 will do it. We do have some decent size oaks and pecans in central OK so we didnt try. Well worth paying someone else for that one! If you do it would love to know how it does.
@@warnerfamilyfarm1136 I’m also in Central Oklahoma. We have huge oaks as well, some hickory’s, etc. we hired a dozer and mulcher to clear a couple acres for the house, shop, and some trails. But I’d like to slowly do some of my own clearing over time. Especially some of these medium sized trees. Which dealer did you buy from and how much did you pay in total?
@@CoffeeNo0b0514 right on. You know what im talking about. Tractor Bobs in OKC. We bought it with the backhoe, 5 ft brush hog and hay spear. Right about 31. Then we bought pallet forks and a box blade. Make sure to get the pallet forks!

Delivering mine tomorrow. Hope we made a good decision with it.
Congratulations! Great tractor. Im at 80 hours now and am very happy with the overall performance of the tractor.
I put 4 hours on mine today. Did some brush hogging and used the grapple some. I really am happy with it so far. It won’t take long to put 50 hours on it then comes the service.
@@saint438 right on! The hours add up fast. Im assuming I will get to the 2000 way before the 6 years on the warranty! Enjoy.
What kind of roof panel is that? I got the same tractor and love it.
When i bought it they asked if i wanted the insulated or non, I said insulated and left it at that. So i have no idea!! I will look today and let you know.
The Perry Company. Ill attach a picture of the underside if i can figure it out.
How do you like it so far? Looking to but the 3025 soon
I have 36 hours on it so far and it is a solid tractor. Im going to move 10 5x6 round bales next week and I'll know if the 25 has the power needed. If it moves them no issue then it is performing every task i need.
Ill have the 50 hours service done in 2 weeks and give a review after that has been complete. Overall very happy so far.
