Hey, that means the world, I'm glad you enjoyed :). The new Sonic movie really set me back into a nostalgic mood too so I had to hop on it

Also, I used to think I liked knuckles missions as a kid, but as an adult they drive me crazy. I think the main thing that kept me interested when I was a kid was just thinking knuckles was a cool character tbh.

The radar only works on 1 piece at the time because it will turn really confusing if the hints TV's start giving you hints for all 3 pieces and you wouldn't know which piece they are referring. Sonic team really wanted to push the use of the hint system, thats why omochao and hints will be around every corner.

I think both are equally flawed but I do prefer SA2's treasure stages because I feel like they actually give me something to do SA1 has a better radar but I think SA2 has more creative and more original levels, a better moveset, more variety and a better hint system since they give hints instead of just flying straight to the emeralds like Tikal did in SA1.

@@Neo-Metal17 This might be a controversial take but I wish they were more focused around combat than treasure hunting. I mean hes got those knuckles for a reason. Maybe almost something like the wherehog stages from unleashed. I know some people definitely were fans of those, but I'm not a fan of treasure hunting haha

@ Nah I disagree, he has Knuckles but he was never just about fighting, he's a protector and he's pretty intelligent, and people hated the Werehog stages in Unleashed, some liked them, like me but they definitely get hate too. Also how would they make that interesting without it just being "punch everything in sight and the level is over in a minute"

It was a 240 hz monitor, but I'm not positive if v-sync was off or not. The mach speed deathless run will be legendary

See I totally get that, I can't say 06 was a masterpiece but it had so much potential. The gameplay was buggy, the story was questionable, but the level design, the mach speeds zones, and playing as Sonic, Shadow, and Silver was conceptually sooo cool

The gameplay was definitely tough but those cut scenes more than made up for it imo haha

It's practically exponential

I won't sit around and pretend it was perfect, but man did it have potential. If you have the opportunity to play Project 06, I highly recommend it (it's free)

@chasebarnes3607 I unfortunately don't, sorry. But if you ever make your way to PC, hopefully Project 06 will be complete by then and you can play it in all it's glory. Or maybe they remaster it next year for it's 20th anniversary (they won't, but a boy can hope)

I did something similar that worked and manually limited the games frames to 60 in nvidia control panel but same concept

It was chaos but kinda fun chaos. I have since fixed it thankfully

All you need to do is lock it to 60 fps because it's tied to the frame rate in this game. No mods are necessary.

The tails ones especially were killing me

@@Kohara17 you started with the Axe guy if i remember. I started with this one too because i never played strength. It's a good class, you can use a lot of weapons. Also i didn't see if you found it in the vid but [ADVICE ALERT] There's a Ultra Greatsword good for your class in this area. In a chest in a 2 floor house. Maybe you need someone or something to break a wall, i don't remember. Ds2 is 101% secrets.

That's what I'm saying! Only thing keeping this game from being a 10/10 in my eyes. Still a solid 9 or 9.5 though. There is technically a second ending though I found out where you can choose to not exfil and stay behind in the fire.
