I tried the plasma pistol. Ran out of ammo too quickly in my opinion. Only reason I ditched it.

Honestly all the sidearms are pretty good. Just comes down to preference. I find bolt pistol a bit more consistent but if you can pre charge the plasma you can really dish out some damage. Havent unlocked volkite for bulwark yet but ive seen it used and it seems pretty solid as well.

I didn't purchase any extra DLC or get the season pass. I'll be sticking with the original pistol. Agreed though user preference.

@@Pogh_Gamesi think all the weapons are able to be unlocked no? Only thing is cosmetics which you need the pass for.

Controller camera settings: X = 15, Y = 13, Aim = 8.

It's cool, I play all the classes. Sniping is still fun when your teammates don't suck. I've had better matches. But you're right, it's much harder to stand on flags as sniper than other classes. Feels like you're meant to be a support role. Makes getting decent videos with sniper harder. Sniper and assault are my least favorite to make videos for so far.

I have considered it. I'm not able to stream because of my living situation at the moment. Its just too noisy around me most of the time. That will change someday when I make an actual studio space. Til then I'm stuck with videos. Ill keep thinking about it.

lol that's crazy. I was sure all you guys were bots. Just kiddin. Games have been way harder to balance lately, it's super difficult to find matches that aren't completely one-sided. But I'll keep tryin. It's still a fun game when I get a good match. Just need all the new guys to level up a bit.

@Pogh_Games oh nice I hated wall bouncing in gears. Just picked this up in the steam sale. Don't get much time gaming these days will give this a go over the Xmas period.

DLSS quality, 1.00 sharpening, motion blur off, all else ultra or high if no ultra setting. I'm getting anywhere from 120-130 fps in mausoleum running 4k. In some areas it drops to 100 or so. While recording, I lose another 10 frames or so. This version of the video also went through Davinci Resolve and I color graded the best I could. It's not perfect for sure.

Yes that's the general idea, but 100% controlled by owning the points. Kills don't do anything so PTFO. Anyone soloing kills isn't helping if they aren't on the flags.

Their matchmaking isn't the greatest. There's a usual one minute timer between matches that sometimes skips. If you take it upon yourself to quit out of matches due to level balance then it might take longer. There's also another minute wait usually when people are selecting characters. I use that time to go to the bathroom or get a drink or take a sip of beer. Or save off a video I just recorded.
