My favorite pieces of lore about MySims is definitely the ghost lore in MySims Party DS. You know how, once you become friends with a Sim, they become playable in the festivals? So here's the thing. They also become playable OUTSIDE the festivals... sort of. The mirror where you can choose which of your own sims to switch to and run around as ALSO includes the menu listing all Sims that have reached the friends status. So basically, you can run around town as ANYONE, which in of itself has some interesting easter eggs of it's own depending on who you talk to. (Like being Shirley with Nicole and vice versa.) Where does the ghost lore come in? If you talk to Elmira, Ginny, or Nikki while basically being their doppelgangers, all three of them get freaked out and mention ghosts who can COPY SIMS AND CHANGE FORMS HOWEVER THEY LIKE TO PLAY TRICKS ON PEOPLE. LIKE... WHAT??? WHERE DID THIS COME FROM??? AM I A GHOST??? IS THAT WHY I GET TO MAKE SO MANY SIMS IN THAT GAME??? It just raises SO many questions about what your character even IS, not just in Party DS, but all the games in general.

WHAT EXCUSE ME?? THERE WAS GOING TO BE FAITH IN THE MYSIMS?! Mirror's Edge is to this day one of my all-time favorite games. It is wild to hear that Faith was supposed to be in MySims! It is so wild to be watching this and then so casually, so quickly, a mention of lost media about my fave game is dropped. I was shocked lolo

Ima just say this as an honest opinion. I don't hate Skyheros. I actually thought there were things that were cool about it. Like the character designs and the general aesthetic. I actually never completed the game because I rage quited and never completed since. But yeah, I wish the story was better

THANK YOU! I have very fond memories of this website and was so disappointed when one day it suddenly shut down with no warning. My favorite part was the songs. I've been looking for them for YEARS, but it seems of the few people who remember this website, even fewer remember the songs. They seemed to be lost media. This video was the first I've heard of the DVD. I looked it up and found out that it has the songs as a bonus feature!! You can probably guess what happened next. I've uploaded them to my channel for everyone's listening pleasure :)

MySims is such a slept on series. Genuinely some of my favorite games as a kid, and even now as an adult. Hopefully the new Switch release will revive the fanbase enough to warrant a new game ;-;

The games "MySims Racing" and "MySims party were different for the DS! Racing had more gameplay and a town to explore while party was more functional whereas current copies of the wii version are seemingly broken throughout the motion control games (Tried multiple copies, multiple wiis and remotes) PS MySims Kingdom was my hyper-fixation and though now I'm happy to see it being enjoyed; at first I was incredibly gatekeepy over it! 😭😭

Oh wow True Heart! That was honestly my favorite game on the og American Girl website. I can help with this! The fifth and final game had you solve a series of tangram type puzzles to make different shapes (I think relevant to each historical girl iirc) with the final one being a heart shape that would reveal the true heart. Then you'd get a page that would say basically 'congratulations! you found it!' similar to the title art at the beginning. Overall I liked the tangram game a lot, and would play the others in historical order just to get the extra mini game lmao. I'm so glad you mentioned True Heart! I have so many memories of playing it over and over on the family computer in the designated computer room

shining stars has been one of my special interests for 3 years and i love seeing videos about it pop up every now and then & this is one of the most well researched videos ive seen on them :))) i never played the game because i was too young to use my computer when it shut down and also i didnt have any of the plushes :( i have some random information on them - the exact release date i dug up for them was april 7th 2007 - all the starpod songs are actually on the dvd and i plan on uploading them somewhere soon - outside of the initial batch and the second one that was showed in the survey image, they released a few holiday ones and an E.T. collab plush - theres an obscure little bag thing they released at one point that came with a shining stars bag, the dvd, a sticker sheet, crayons, a colouring book, and a note pad - the original 24 shining stars (except 4 the dragon) & black cat all have ribbons on their necks but after that none of them have it and in general are lower quality - another thing similar to the ribbons is that the older mythical creature plushes all have glittery fur and also the black cat has it too, but in the second group released the pegasus doesnt have it

Oh, girl, I remember Play with Me Sesame from PBS Kids Sprout😂😂😂 But yeah, Nickelodeon, Noggin, and Nick Jr were crucial parts of my childhood, alongside Playhouse Disney, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Toon Disney, Cartoon Network, and Boomerang!!!

My first my sims game was Kingdom, but my favorite was Agents because of the story. I too tried to piece a timeline with Kingdom being the 1st and Sky Heroes being the last, and I ended up saying "it's just a bunch a parallel universes" and called it a day.

An interesting possibility could be that poppy colored her hair to look more like violet when she got older considering they are sisters and we can assume that she is younger in kingdom

I have to say a few things.... First off, I feel like that plot twist in... the airplane one. Could have been a bit fun (in a better game, I mean what?) If it lead to a branched ending. Stay a hero even after regaining yourself? And feel guilt for your evil actions? Or fall back into villainy, and potentially attempt to backstab Morcubus? And.... Going into Sims 4.... Those My Sims cameos are a bit disappointing, because they look SO LITTLE like their My Sims counterparts. Like.... Yuki is Yuki in Name Only. ....Which is why I gave her, and Candy makeovers with CC. I made Candy BASICALLY her My Sims counterpart. (But, I did keep the pink they added to her hair... the custom hair I used had a blond and pink color.) And Yuki... I tried. I didn't have hair that was 100% accurate, but, I took some inspiration from a concept art. Aged her up. Gave her a shirt that says "Wild Thing", gave her pink eyes, and... fangs. (I didn't make her a vampire, since she's a "self proclamed vampire". A wannabe, in short.) Only thing I did to change their facial structures was make the eyes a bit more like the My Sims counterparts. While being a bit more realistic. That makeover session was fun.... I should find the other cameos, and give them a similar treatment.

I wasn't a kid when I played this. I thought the little girls laugh was cute. I also used to get a kick out of "spook-kane" I live a few hours/half a day depending on the traffic from Spokane, Washington. Edit: I had games like this, as well as a Tamagotchi game, and some other very simple-ish games for a Nintendo D.S., I had trouble with my blood-pressure getting too high, and even my anxiety starting to trigger badly during travel. So these helped

Agents 2 sounded like an amazing story. As a big fan of Agents, I would've loved to play it. Maybe Evelyn's twin sister would've showed up there? Maybe there was an idea to use Madison as a twist, like you rescued Evelyn from the Nightmare Realm but instead of her you saved Madison instead? Which would explain why Walker was upset that you let Morcubus free in that ending?
