it is also known worldwide for being one of the most popular vacation destinations.
Cabo San Lucas started developing as it is rich in marine life and very isolated, which made it the favorite destination of fishermen looking for the largest fish & celebrities trying to stay away from the limelight.
Nowadays, Cabo San Lucas has some of the most luxurious resorts, world-class Marina and the biggest fishing tournament in the world.
It is not only popular with celebrities but with thousands of people from all over the world who can enjoy the nightlife, best deep-sea fishing in the world and a wide variety of activities.
Visiting the Arch in Los Cabos is a must-do experience, accessible only by boat from Medano Beach or the Cabo San Lucas Marina.
Whether on glass-bottom boat rides, water taxis, private yachts, or sunset sailing cruises, travelers are treated to unparalleled views of the Arch.
Admiring its grandeur from afar or venturing up close, the Arch of Cabo San Lucas stands as a symbol of the region's natural splendor and timeless allure.
Todos Santos
Todos Santos is a village located on the Pacific side Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula, an hour away from Cabo San Lucas,
it is considered a “Pueblo Magico’’ (a Magic Town), with wonderful colonial buildings, Mexican art and crafts, and delicious typical regional food which is mostly made with local products.
Its uncrowded beaches are a perfect place to relax, spend the day and surf.
San Jose del Cabo
San Jose del Cabo is a city located in the southern part of the state of Baja California Sur.
It’s worth knowing that, colloquially, San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas (and the area in between and around) are known collectively as “Los Cabos.”
San Jose del Cabo is not to be confused with Cabo San Lucas, which is roughly 30 kilometres away.
The city has been well preserved, and it’s a lovely opportunity to take a step back in time when you’re visiting areas like downtown San Jose del Cabo and the surrounding area. That being said, with its vibrant restaurant and art scene, it’s not a city that is only looking backwards - it’s a city with its eye on a bright future.
San Jose del Cabo is much more my style.
If you have some time to spare here, or you’re here for an extended period of time, I would honestly just take the first little bit of time and explore by foot. Start in the San Jose del Cabo main square then walk in any direction and see what you come across.
