This Pada Yaatra thing needs to be stopped or should be given alternative routes to reach katharagama. It’s illegal in Sri Lanka to explore national parks by foot, and that rule should apply to everyone despite their religious beliefs. This act endangers the threatened wildlife & the biodiversity. These are what needs to be addressed by wildlife enthusiasts. Imagine the disappointment of travellers when they see zero animals despite paying the high ticket price as a result of this paada yaatra.
