I was really trying to push myself for the levels leading up to 100 extremes, and this was the pinnacle of that. This level is currently my 4th hardest and it took me almost a MONTH to beat.
distraught was a really weird experience. It had ups and downs, since everything but the first third of the level has some of the most unbelievably good gameplay you can find in a level of this age. Every single gameplay choice feels carefully picked to add to some of the most intense atmosphere you can find anywhere in the game. Sadly, the predrop of this level brings it down a LOT. As you get stuck there for so long and it just becomes a really frustrating experience. Some moments truly felt hopeless but you just had to keep brute-forcing it until you finally passed the predrop and PRAY you don't die to one of the many difficult clicks later in the drop.
I am so proud to finally have beaten this level, I've loved it for years and even tried it at one point. This was by no means an easy completion, so I cannot be happier to say it is over
I would recommend this level for experienced players. If you've been eye-ing this for a while, give it a try! You might just find one of your new favorite extremes.

What a level this is! Honestly such a poorly crafted level. The structuring on every part is very annoying and inconsistent, and it can get very frustrating especially at the drop wave. Thankfully, even if the structuring led to very awkward playability, the level was pretty fun! The actual gameplay is fun and it is really easy so it doesn't matter too much. Click sound delays are so inconsistent, in the beginning there is no delay but the whole drop and after, its always different. My theory is that you only recorded legit playing predrop and everything after that just has layered click sounds you made separately.
