If you never finish the series, nothing bad can happen to the characters, right?
The part from 1:53-5:02 usually plays twice.
This piece is relevant to the main character’s psyche at the beginning of the series. He is fighting with himself as he finds that he cannot play due to psychological blocks. Similarly, Ludwig Van Beethoven was frustrated with himself upon realizing how popular moonlight sonata was. He was even quoted as saying “Surely I’ve written better things”. Similarly to the main character fighting with himself, Ludwig Van Beethoven spent time fighting with himself over moonlight sonata’s popularity. Coincidence? I think not.
The piece is relevant to the circumstances of the main character’s upbringing. Ludwig Van Beethoven intended to dedicate this piece to violinist George Bridgetower. Sometime after the premiere performance, while Beethoven and Bridgetower were out drinking, the latter insulted the morals of an anonymous woman whom Beethoven cherished. Bridgetower’s inebriated behavior that night enraged Beethoven to the point where they had a falling out. Beethoven removed the dedication and instead dedicated the piece to the very violinist whom this piece would get its name from: Rodolphe Kreutzer, who was considered to be the finest violinist of his generation. As to Kreutzer himself, he never performed the Kreutzer sonata, considering it “outrageously unintelligible”. He did not care for Beethoven’s music very much, and they only met once, very briefly. Similarly, following a victory at a recital by the main character, his mother insulted his success, enraging him to the point of wanting her dead, with the implication that he would have disowned her, only for irony to kick in when she suddenly dies. The similarity was the main character’s mother insulted her son’s victory at a recital, the same way that George Bridgetower drunkenly insulted the morals of a woman that Beethoven loved. Both scenarios resulting in both parties parting ways. Beethoven having a falling out with Bridgetower, and the main character wishing his mother were dead, only for her to die seconds after. Coincidence? I think not.

Could you PLEASE quote the source and real artist of this performance? It does not coincide with Emil Gilel's style nor Daniel Levy. I would REALLY APPRECIATE if you give us more info to find this pianists, who is different than the aforementioned. Thanks a lot.

Sometimes I think that I'm super weird because I didn't cry when watching this anime
I thought this anime was happy and sad and overall it was just beautiful
Keremet!
Nah watching this I wanted to become a pianist so my friend training me now🤣🤣
episode?
1 if i remember correctly
Anyone 2020??
Yea lol
Yea..i came here after i watch an anime called your lie in april
@@atifrafiqi4203 same
Super fun piece to play... once you've spent 50 hours practicing it until you can play it with your eyes closed, then all you want to is die when you hear it.
I'll never be able to listen to this again, without getting a bit choked up. You think it's bad after watching "You Lie in April"? Try after re-watching - it's even worse. Lovely music and a wonderful anime, but damn - it was so unfair!
Imma agree to the my Mother about moving the piano into my room... I’m gonna learn them both now lol
The music is very good, it fascinates me, the song relaxes me, so whenever I go to sleep I listen to it to relax and relieve myself of stress.
this anime reached me. i play violin for 6 years, but with years it got boring and i almost didnt practice, after watching this anime, i want to play with my violin again
Tempo marking at 6:27 is wrong
Beethoven never intended to play that part slow. The tempo marking didn't change. The notes are in fast
Thank You :)
