DEMOLISHING Limgrave as a level 1+0 Regular Knight - Elden Ring Cinematic Movie
This is a bit of a passion project, I wanted to showcase an RL 1+0 playthrough of the game as a classic "sword and shield" knight and I figured it would be cool to make a small movie out of it! The Broadsword is featured heavily here, it's an extremely powerful weapon for level 1 challenge runs and I would highly recommend using it. Its power comes from its default ash of war "Square Off" which does tons of health and posture damage, at very little FP cost.
In the title "level 1+0" means level 1 with no weapon upgrades, and "regular knight" is in reference to some restrictions of this challenge run: shield equipped, medium roll distance, knight-like weapons. The only other restrictions are "no damage taken" and "no summons".
The equipment used:
- Broadsword (obtained from the merchant on the beach in the starting area of Limgrave)
- Riveted Wooden Shield with Parry (shield is obtained from the merchant in Mistwood near Fort Haight, ash of war is obtained from Bernahl in the Warmaster's Shack)
- Eclipse Crest Heater Shield with Barricade Shield (shield obtained on the Weeping Peninsula near the Minor Erdtree, ash of war obtained by defeating the Knight's Cavalry by the Castle Morne Rampart site of grace)
- Fire Pots (see my guide on how to obtain infinite ingredients for these immediately in Limgrave, they are very useful and powerful)
- Kukri (obtained from the merchant by the Castle Morne Rampart site of grace, I use runes on throwable items because I don't use them for levelling up. Kukri's are a great tool to always have)
- Crimson Hood (found in Stormveil Castle in a room near the Grafted Scion after completing Roderika's quest)
- Bandit Mask (obtained from a merchant in northern Limgrave by the Saintsbridge)
- Chain armor (obtained from Kale in the Church of Elleh)
- Lantern (obtained from a merchant on the west coast of the Weeping Peninsula by the Isolated Merchant's Shack site of grace)
Boss battle timestamps:
1:13 - Tree Sentinel
4:43 - Demi Human Chiefs
8:50 - Leonine Misbegotten
12:45 - Margit, the Fell Omen
15:57 - Godrick the Grafted
Here's the guide on how to defeat the Tree Sentinel and Grafted Scion, and how to easily get infinite fire pot ingredients: ua-cam.com/video/bA2Mj8cfT2A/v-deo.html

How I MASTERED every Elden Ring level 1 challenge run's start (Narrated Cinematic Guide to RL 1+0)
Переглядів 28514 днів тому
This is the beginning of a narrated cinematic tutorial series on how to beat Elden Ring at level 1 without upgrading any weapons or using any spirit summons. The video includes a guide on how to defeat the Grafted Scion, the Tree Sentinel, and the Erdtree Avatar on the Weeping Peninsula. I also show off how to get some items that any challenge runner would benefit from picking up. If you follow...
Defeating Lichdragon Fortissax at level 1 (no weapon upgrades, hitless, solo) - Elden Ring
Переглядів 1114 днів тому
The fight against Lichdragon Fortissax involves lightning that lingers on the player and does delayed damage, so it forces you to be constantly moving around. This means you lose out on attack opportunities when trying to fight him in melee range because you have to avoid attacking when the lightning is tracking you. I didn't like having to wait for attacks like that so I tried using magic and ...
How to EASILY defeat Fia's Champions at level 1 (no weapon upgrades, hitless, solo) - Elden Ring
Переглядів 2814 днів тому
You must defeat Fia's Champions to progress her questline and face Lichdragon Fortissax, and since humanoid fights are notoriously difficult for level 1 characters (and everyone else for that matter), I thought I'd make a guide on how to progress past this fight extremely easily. Anyone can utilize this same method on any character, but if you are playing with 7 base intelligence (warrior or pr...
Demolishing Valiant Gargoyle Duo at level 1 (no weapon upgrades, hitless, solo) - Elden Ring
Переглядів 4521 день тому
This fight was an absolute nightmare! At first I was trying to fight these guys with melee like I did with the Black Blade Kindred's, but that poison they spit is extremely good at forcing you to back out of melee range. If you are committed to using melee and trying to do it hitless, you have to simply run around the arena not attacking for good amounts of time while they're both active becaus...
Defeating Forbidden Black Blade Kindred at level 1 (no weapon upgrades, hitless, solo) - Elden Ring

Continuing the quest to learn the valiant gargoyle / black blade kindred moveset so I can progress past the underground gargoyle duo! This dude has some tricky moves, the hardest one I found was his roar in Axe phase. It comes out so quickly and leaves little room to react, but I figured out how to dodge it reliably. When he roars to change weapons, dodge towards him and try to get directly und...
Defeating Sanctum Black Blade Kindred at level 1 (no weapon upgrades, hitless, solo) - Elden Ring
Переглядів 24121 день тому
This fight is pretty hard! I tried to learn how to do it entirely with the camera unlocked because it's best to stay unlocked in the valiant gargoyle fight that I'm practicing for here. The hardest part is the arena, this dude loves to jump around so he ends up on top of things all the time and is hard to hit. He's also surprisingly good at dodging attacks, I miss a lot in this video! The loado...
How to easily defeat ANY Erdtree Avatar or Putrid Avatar at level 1 - Elden Ring
Переглядів 42021 день тому
I was playing through a RL1 0 hitless challenge run and found that this boss isn't very difficult to master. I figured it would be a good idea to share the strategy to defeat them since they drop some pretty good rewards that would be useful for any challenge runner or regular player alike! The first half of the video is how to "legitimately" but still easily fight the boss with a melee weapon....
Defeating Regal Ancestor Spirit at level 1 (no weapon upgrades, hitless, solo) - Elden Ring
Переглядів 1528 днів тому
I have heard a lot of hate around the internet for this boss considering its tendency to teleport around the arena a lot, but I found that once you get the hang of stance breaking him it becomes a lot more manageable. I actually enjoyed this fight a lot because of the ambiance and theme. It was much easier to hit his head with the camera unlocked, but he's not that difficult in general. He is w...
Defeating Flying Dragon Agheel at level 1 (no weapon upgrades, hitless, solo) - Elden Ring
Переглядів 6228 днів тому
I wanted to show off defeating this early game dragon on a level 1 character because pretty much any playthrough would benefit from getting at least one dragon heart so they can unlock the "Rotten Breath" incantation as a reliable way of applying scarlet rot in the early game. Even as a level 1, you can use Rotten Breath if you pick up the "Two Fingers Heirloom" talisman from the Purified Ruins...
Defeating Bloodhound Knight Darriwil at level 1 (no weapon upgrades, hitless, solo) - Elden Ring
Переглядів 9728 днів тому
Despite the ease of this fight, I felt like it was important to show off because the Bloodhound's Fang is a great weapon. A lot (all?) of Darriwil's attacks are parryable, and once you understand the parry timing on just one or two of his moves he goes down quick. The loadout I used in this video: - Broadsword (purchased from a nomadic merchant outside the Coastal Cave in Limgrave) - Riveted Wo...
Defeating Dragonkin Soldier at level 1 (no weapon upgrades, hitless, solo) - Elden Ring
Переглядів 91Місяць тому
I wanted to show off this minor bossfight because he drops the Dragon Halberd, a very powerful weapon for a level 1 character. It's a relatively easy fight, even with just the Broadsword. Three "Square Off" heavy attacks will stagger him, and even with a non-upgraded weapon you will do plenty of damage. To make the fight even easier, just add status effects such as bleed or frost or buffs like ...
Defeating Radagon + Elden Beast at level 1 (no weapon upgrades, hitless, solo) - Elden Ring
Переглядів 303Місяць тому
I am so happy to have finally beat Radabeast on my RL1 0 playthrough! Having to learn two boss movesets is a pain, but by the end I was able to defeat Radagon without even paying that much attention because I had fought him so much. It's not like beating all the other bosses in the game even on a hitless run. With the other bosses, you beat them once and move on. With this fight you unlock an o...
Defeating Godfrey / Hoarah Loux at level 1 (no weapon upgrades, hitless, solo) - Elden Ring
Переглядів 323 місяці тому
Godfrey/Hoarah Loux's first phase is relatively easy to learn, but his second phase was super hard for me. You mostly just have to dodge forward and to the right in his first phase, and then in the second phase you should try to stay right up against him and keep strafing right so you can trigger him to use easily avoidable attacks. When he starts doing the shock waves in his second phase, oppo...

crazy how this isn't doin numbers the level of quality that went into this is insane, I really hope you do the whole game like this. or at least levelin up within reason (shame you didn't go through with Gatekeeper Gostoc's dialogue)
I had to cut out a whole bunch of dialogue to keep it around 20 minutes lol. I wish I could have included all quest NPC's honestly but the video was so long before I cut things out Thanks for the encouragement, I am planning to do the whole game like this :) Liurnia next
I wish a could parry like that
It's not that much harder to learn parry timing for some moves instead of dodge timing, considering you have to learn the whole movesets anyway to take no damage. It's just practice :)
Mooooreeee
I'll probably end up doing the whole game like this
Amazing
Damnn
Bro I still remember your Legendary In Win 301 case mod video. It is gorgeous craftsmanship so much so even I decided to buy one of those cases. Keep up the good work. Do you still do commissions these days?
Thanks man! Inwin is definitely a favorite. I don’t build computers anymore because I do that kinda thing for work, but if I did I would definitely make an elden ring mod
@LamentersGaol hell yea, could imagine an Amber fire and grey stone with golden accent's In Win mod for Elden Ring would look amazing. 😊 Mmm the possibilities. .
The beat drop timing at 1:15 felt better than sex
I should try magic more in RL1. And it's counted as WL0 if Meteorite Staff is used.
Yeah it really made this fight so much more tolerable to be able to fight quickly after running from a poison cloud! It wouldn't be that much harder if you used the astrologer staff instead, only a bit less damage
Love the simplicity yet effective build
I was pleased with how effective it is as well!
Nice 👍
YOU CAN PARRY THE PHASE 2 FLURRY THRUST?????? I understand why you didn't do that due to how fast it is, but still the fact that it's even possible is just crazy to me. Nonetheless this is still a great guide, I have parried him before but I never realized how painfully easy it is to get him in a parry loop 'til now.
Heck yeah dude! Hope that makes the duo a bit easier :)
Good shit, me and BBK aren't on speaking terms
Haha he does jump around a lot. I miss so often
ggs
That was clean, not long ago i fought him to get the halberd and it was so annoying cause i couldn't see his attacks cause of his size
It's much harder to fight him when you're locked on. I figured out staying unlocked let me see him way better. Had the same exact issue though
Where is this boss?
It's in Siofra River, you have to climb a broken pillar and go through a teleporter to get there. Available right from the beginning of the game though
Let me be the first one to say well done! Really, great job
Thank you! I'm pretty pumped about it :)
Personally, I think this boss is masterfully designed despite it's flaws. It's still my favorite boss in Elden Ring.
I found it enjoyable after learning how to fight one of them properly, they definitely don't deserve the bad reputation they have. Without sleep pots I think they'd be horrible though
@LamentersGaol I do enjoy them immensely without the Sleeping Pots but I understand.
I've missed seeing your content man! Congratulations on the new life!!
Thank you :)
lightwork
nice! good job. Always impressive to see rl1 stuff
Thanks :)
Game is like the how the newest diablo's should have played like-tough and visceral.
I actually haven't played any of the diablo games. I do enjoy some horror vibes in games though
Fantastic game and "dlc" ,its great to have a long-lasting game to wallow in.This and Baldurs Gate 3 have been the rpg highlights of the last few year-both great games, packed with secret fan service.
I loved BG3 as well! We have similar taste :)
nice
Nice!
Glad your doing well for yourself man, loved your pc mods on your other, previous channel. (Lol still subbed!).More a hardware guy myself, but all strength to you and yours!
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words, modding was a lot of fun :)
nice job mate, you play well. take care.
What heppands than
You get his weapons and his shield and then you have to fall down to prgresst
You get 3200 runes and his sword and shield, but you still have to die to progress. Usually you'd walk to the end of the area and fall off the cliff as the rocks crumble beneath you
