Now that I have the workflow down for building Quest VR projects I thought I would try this. Unfortunately I'm hung up on getting her to 'fly' from place to place so still figuring that out. Good exercise for my brain pudding so I don't mind. Hopefully better demo soon.

Generated some cool music in Suno by uploading a 'monster stomp' sound effect and having Suno run with it. Seemed very cinematic so I just had to put a visual to it. Nothing spectacular. The camera spiral up was written by ChatGPT 4o and was (as usual) flawless.
Daz Gen 9 in Unity

Finally have most of the bugs worked out. Eyelashes are a bit misplaced and lipsync isn't ideal but short of facial performance capture it probably won't get much better. Skin and eyes are good and the mesh is much finer than the other Daz generations.

At this point I'm just taking pics of pretty girls in swimsuits. Just playing with expressions and animations now. Takes a while to set up the models though.

Suno.ai has a new upload feature that allows you to upload a snippet of a tune and it will run with it. It's best to keep it under 30 seconds but more than 10 and keep the music genre descriptions simple. Experimentation is your friend!

Thanks! Yeah that's their Gen 9. I'll be testing a few more Gen 9s now that I have some animation kinks ironed out. They are probably as good as CC4 but maybe with added flexibility for shaping? I don't use CC but your characters look great. We're not in Metahuman territory yet but those require a lot of horsepower to render.
it's a bit wrong.. the queen would use more "we" and "us" than "I" or "me".. she indeed used those in unimatrix zero and endgame but other than that she practically speaks in plural..

Actually, she does use the “I” and “me” words, specifically in Star Trek: First Contact, during some of her conversations with Data.

Very interesting Bob, never knew Timelines existed in Unity, I spent hours doing crossfade of animation states and transitions of layer weights for the dancing in my app, looks like Timeline could have done this much easier, I'll have a go of it when I add more dance routines 👍

Just a couple of nitpicks; the impulse exhaust at the trailing edge of the nacelle pylons and Bussard collectors at the front of the warp nacelles should be red, not blue. Also, the impulse engines wouldn't glow prior to engaging warp like the nacelles would. If anything, they might power down as the ship switched from impulse to warp drive.

Do you know if this could be functional with a webgl build? Convai / salsa cc3 plus character?
I’ve only tried a webgl build once and didn’t really complete it so I’m not sure. I haven’t heard of any restrictions with the components you mentioned though. When in doubt give it a try! 😊

@@bobhawkey3783 it works, only issue I'm having is control of the jaw. Is there a minimum maximum setting control within salsa for the emotes? Still learning.
@@onboard3441 the Visemes are what control the mouth when speaking, not the emotes. Emotes should be used sparingly and not when speech is happening. If you are using Salsa there is a CC3 OneClick addon that makes it very easy. Are you actually using Salsa? If so I could give you instructions for the OneClicks.

Yeah, it's a bit of a conundrum. Right now it's a wonderful tool for creatives with no access to voice actors or musicians but the day is coming when a simple prompt will create similar scenes. We're in an age where the 'worth' of things is a definition in flux.
