Unfortunately in my Marine daughter's case, which included auto-immune hepatitis, other multiple medical issues/disorders for over 10 years, among painful treatments and terrible suffering, including the necessity of a liver/kidney transplant, and her subsequent death in 2014, help came way too late. Her death broke my heart, but all the politicians and VA bigwigs continue on with big paychecks and great benefits and I don't believe they care much, if at all. In the final analysis, I hope God will dispense perfect justice.

I was in camp Lejeune from 1974-78. I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma March 2013.

My husband was stationed in Camp Lejeune for 2 years and was exposed to all those toxins. My husband has Leukemia due to the exposure.

What are the responsibilities of the Commanding Generals? Our son and daughter serving and their families have civil rights, and human rights. This case shows calculation and disregard for human life.

I can see no evidence that the miliatary is trying to contact marines or their families about the possibility of exposure to these chemicals. My family lived there during 1974-76 we found out about this through CNN's recent coverage. This is an outrage and embarrassment. We owe our military persons much more respect.
