Hearing this, I am carried back to 1961. My grandmother’s casket is being borne down the steps of a little country church in North Carolina, and a choir is singing this lovely old hymn. Thank you for this sublime performance. ❤️

Hey y’all: Jesus is real; He’s the King. He’s my Lord and Savior. My choir was working on this tune during the season of my conversion when I was gloriously apprehend by the Holy Ghost! God delivered me from sin, selfishness, spiritual blindness & bondage to drugs, alcohol & fornication. Basically, living to please my self-centered whims & desires. I got Born Again.
