Super thank you !
What's that kit called
@@teddygardenas1559 the flux raider
@@LeifyGuy cool thanks
@teddygardenas1559 they sell out quick, so you pretty much have to buy one whenever you see it in stock FYI
Thanks for showing this, I got one recently and love it. Never would have considered this
@@Madx1383 you'll have to let me know how it goes!
But seriously, how do you get that much wear from metal on plastic?
I posted this under the wrong account lol
I have the same problem with one of my pvs 14s flickering when I use supplemental IR illuminator. I thought something was wrong with my tube. I bought it like 7 years ago so I don't know what tube is in it but from watching your video, it sounds like I could possibly have a photonis tube
Do you think Nocturn Industries daisho bridge is worth it or not? Im interested in the tanto, too.
Did you watch my video on the daisho too? I'm still very much a fan
So you ran the lc2 with just power an negetive voltage no remote ? An the remote from the lc2 to the amp... no remote connection from car stereo
How did you access the first gromit
Best way to find it is finding it on the inside, stick a coat hanger with some tape on the end and see if you can spot it under the hood
thank you brother🥹❤️❤️
i've been doing these for over 25 years, it 100% easier if backfoot is above the bolt heel in th concave and you pressur to do a primo and then you scoop if done fast enought momentum can get the board 2-3 feet high, i do the fronside nosegride (switch 5-0) and frontside nose slide . i've been calling it jedi flip for 20 years, no one can do it the primo way with back foot above the bolt. i am about to get ready to film it before my body dosen't allow me to skate hard anymore
Il est trop bien son pull rose sur elle la grande fille il est trop cool ❤❤
Thanks for sharing your experience!
What is the cost on this?
It entirely depends on how you have it built out, my setup is somewhere around 7500
She's beautiful,you have wonderful children
Your bungee setup is genius.
Dang
My car is like half ripped apart I have a 2012 dodge journey and I have watched this video a lot and I still can’t get it :(
What part are you stuck at?
@@LeifyGuyi have a 2017 nd I don’t know how to do it
2 12 Memphis with a Rockville amp please help
@nobiggietv1008 not sure how else I can help beyond this video
Have you figured it out? My wiring harness is completely different then this
Now only if I had a paper clip when I need one
Is the dovetail metal?
Yes on the current models they are metal
This isbtrash
thats a slick setup dude
Still the best tanto/daisho video on the internet right now. I'm starting out with one tanto. The capability of the tanto is unmatched, but katanas are just just so sexy looking compared to these lol
Yeah I honestly made the video purely because nobody else had and I felt like they deserved a good review video. You're absolutely right though, katanas are much more aesthetically pleasing, but the capabilities of the tanto system are really hard to beat
@@LeifyGuy what’s the difference? The bridge is just smaller…
@@iamnotacriminal single battery, single power button, a bit more robust
Could you provide a link to where that diagram came from? I’d like to know what the other wires are. Thanks.
actually i'm doin em like that, only i place backfoot more like for a tre flip and start it with pressure
I have to try that
can you upgrade the tanto to a second one with this bridge?
Yes, you could start with a single tanto, then buy a second, then buy the bridge and put them all together into this bino system
Cool 🔥🔥
WHAT ABOUT THE 3 NOTEBOOK?
goddamn
Lol
Hey, the flickering is caused trough the better AUTO-GATING. It has more effective auto gating than other tubes. Not everybody has this problem. Its more like a problem of your eyes, thats the reason why it's just on the right side. But if you see it, you need a compatible IR light for your ultra fast AUTO-GATING tubes.
SORRY, I saw it now. This is too extreme. It's not your eyes! This tube was not meant to getting sold. You can return it. You will get a new tube from photonis. You got a defective Tube. The AUTO-GATING is out of spec.
id love to see a thermal unit built in a tanto body so we can swap out a tube for thermal
I've ran thermal/NV bridged, it's honestly terrible, I don't know anyone that has used it extensively and stuck with the setup.
@@LeifyGuy def not for navigation or extensive use. But when the situation calls for it, it sounds gun🤷♂️
@@croissant5719 I keep a handheld thermal on a lanyard around my neck, it makes more sense than getting the right penalty on my head for limited use
Did you ever figure out the strobe problem? Or learn to mitigate it?
Unfortunately there's no fix for it other than finding the random ir lights that don't cause it
Cap
hows the weight? do you have the light weight eye pieces? Do i need them?
I have the lightweight eye pieces, the weight is incredible, they're insanely lightweight! I have no experience with a tanto with mil spec eye pieces, so I can't speak to the difference, but in my opinion every ounce matters when it's in my head
BATB 11
🔥🎉good
when did you start skating?
Wow that was impossibly sketchy.
Damn nocturn too the idea of the AB mod 3’s and made it actually good lol. It’s like a cross between the AB mod 3’s and the TNVC powered bridge.
This is nothing
You do it then
@@LeifyGuy just learn imposiblle
@@tonchido I can do normal impossible's, I do these differently
Its just how impossibles tend to happen. I can't pressure flip but when i do impossibles, this is how i do them.
I have very narrow eyes, but this looks like it will be too wide for me. I have one on order and plan to get another tanto (ODG just like yours!) to build out the bino set. Whats the minimum interpupilary distance on these units?
I don't have them setup anywhere near the minimum ipd, I'll find out what the minimum is as soon as I can to verify though
@@LeifyGuy Good looks, thanks for the quick response man
I’m having trouble finding out how to connect my RCA connections from my amp to my 2015 dodge journey itself. Do I connect them to the radio? If so where? Or do I need some sort of converter? Please help
You need a line out converter, that's what this video is showing, how I connected line out converter...
So just to make sure I understand the Daisho, it is bridging two tanto’s. I am pretty much set on buying a single 14 and then bridging later. So I buy one tanto now, then another tanto and throw it on the Daisho?
Exactly! That's one of the big benefits, you can buy into the system one piece at a time!
@@LeifyGuy thanks 🙏🏼
you can sel me
What tubes are you running in it?
Photonis Echo 2200fom
I have the katana’s and never looked back
The katana's are rad for sure
Technically, just an barely landed impossible
Thanks for sharing. Definitely learning towards the Nocturn for my first nods.
can def. recommend them. Had a Tanto housing for my first unit and a bnvd 1431 mk2 for my second. Both are "plastic" ofc, however the tanto felt way sturdier and the chinesium bnvd had a crack on one of the pods by using it for recreational purposes, i.e. i only took nighthikes etc. with it and never dropped it. Even now compared to my dtnvs I would say the tanto is not completely on par but gets close. Plus if something breaks their warranty is lifetime.
