It would be interesting if you compared to the Strandberg essential which costs about the same.

I have a JB200C and it is awesome! Kiesel built it for me in 2021 and I have still not had to make any truss rod adjustment and I live in the northeast USA where the temps and humidity constantly change. Hot humid summers and brutal cold winters. The neck is rock solid! Super quality build! The JB24 numbers guitar you have there is next for me!

I've watched a TON of the videos for this guitar and you sir have BY FAR the best tone in a video! Clearly you understand what amps, pedals, mics, and other gear to use!

Howd you get that tone in the intro solo? Equipment/pedals? Thats my sought after tone i can never quite dial in.

Great review!❤ I see you noticed the other strings were slightly out of tune when you tightened up the others…try re-checking the others a second time after tuning all the others (hope that makes sense), because there’s a slight tension on the neck once the other strings come to tension, thereby affecting the other’s fine tuning. Thanks for the review, I’m definitely getting one…maybe even two; one for the studio too!

I like the looks and sounds of that guitar, but sadly i don't like the PUs directly screwed into the body without frames, looks very odd to me...😢

I apologize if I missed the explanation on the intro you said from an E to an A with showing what you done on the A you nailed it the intro!but I’m confused on the E to the A at the intro?

What an awesome review! I almost bought it but I play it on classical position only so the tuners would be on my legs and I don't know if I could rely on a strap to cover the tuners like another person mentioned here already

your missing notes in the main intro riff. you got the first 2 right but the end to the chord progression your missing the higher notes.

I think Hendrix's SPB was much more of an anti-war sound collage than an actual musical guitar solo. It shouldn't be judged as a guitar solo. The same is true of a lot of Tom Morello's playing. How Prince's While My Guitar Gently Weeps solo isn't on here is beyond me. Very talented and industrious, but he really wasn't that good a guitar player. Maybe just because he spread himself too thin trying to do so many things.

By far this is the best review I have seen for this guitar. I was going to get the new version of it, as a 7s player what disappointed me was the scale length, Ibanez did standard on 7s, the 7th string tends to get muddy.

Just waiting for Ibanez to slap a trem on it... And they'd probably have to make the body a little thicker. The zero fret and the odd neck profile on Strandbergs helps me not care about how expensive they are.

Mine sounds great with a few upgrades.........now if it wasn't so damned heavy.

I wouldn't call that a clean channel, my CST24 is just like yours and stock. Clean it sounds crystal clear.

Thanks for the review! How is the Intonation on the 21st. to the 24th. frets? I play the whole Guitar most of the time and it's important that the higher frets/notes are clear and in tune...Other than that, I like the guitar...24 frets...Where can i get one?

Who knows whether the neck is really torrefied. They call it caramelized. That can mean everything. But it's a nice instrument if you get one that's not too heavy or don't mind the weight. Mine weighs about 3.8 kg.

Are these sold at any stores in Milwaukee, WI where I can try one out?

I love mine ! It's the identical guitar to the SE CE 24 has a mahogany body, maple neck and rosewood fretboard with the same hardware and electronics...the ONLY difference is the mahogany body does not have the glossy maple veneer top. Also keep in mind it's $200 less !!! I have the vintage cherry red. It's incredibly resonant...

I hear some VH 5150 tone in that bridge pickup when overdriven!

Looks and sounds great. I dig the matte finish as well, though that particular color is not my jam, it certainly wouldn't be my first choice. Seems like really great value at that price point. Kind of a shame no stainless steel frets as those are getting more and more popular on lower priced guitars.

Great video! Definitely spot on with all you mentioned about this guitar. Not joking, I tried one of these at GC a week ago. I had to check the price tag 3 times at least, thinking it was a used price at first. I couldn’t believe how well it played, felt, and sounded!! Definitely rivals guitars 4x its price. I will definitely be grabbing one asap!

So silly that they don’t use locking tuners. It’s not that expensive to do.
