Headed out to Sydney Harbour for a fish with my mates (March 2024) and boy did we do alright!!!! Bag out on flathead, landed a couple of legal size snappers, bream. We also managed to land a kingfish ;)

Used them for snapper baits, to many bones
Just saying that fish with the stripes is known to clean up the parasites and whatever of other big predators
Its the wide open ocean

Nice video. I’ve been up there many times with little to no luck (I’m very much an amateur fisherman). What bait do you use? The servo prawns aren’t working for me! 😂 Any other tips, tidal timing, etc?
Hey mate, I usually try to get pillies from seafood shops then top that up with fresh frozen squid and prawns. I find run out tide to fish really well and I try to fish as light as possible, for me it’s max of 15lb leader

this is really good to see, the trag were almost completely wiped as well with the longfin perch, just off coogee you have the trag grounds, use to be absolutely covered, hopefully they are making a comeback
