I love my little massy. It can lift over 1000 lbs if you rig the lift straps over the back side of the bucket. The backhoe makes planting trees a breeze, and the ripper blade attachment makes removing old stumps easy too.

I agree with the other comment. The 6way blade is terrific. But it's only available on the 40 model. I had the 40 for about 2 years then I went to the kx057-4. That was a significant change in size.. Much more room in the cab more conformable. But I wish the 6 way blade was available on the 57 as well as the 80..When you get into the 40 and above your going to have the power for the 6 way blade to be very effective.

01:18 can you expand on that statement? Both tractors have SSQA loader adapters and standard Cat1 3-point rear hitches. All attachments that meet that standard are compatible with both tractors. Me and my neighbor swap attachments between our Kubota BX and Massey GC tractors all the time. All I can think of is that you are talking strictly about color match, meaning Land Pride has a large line-up that is color matched to the Kubota.

Kx040 all day… 6 way blade is a game changer. I use it all the time. Wouldn’t buy a machine without it.

The second half was good examples of what to check, however the first half made me almost click out of the video. “Too banged up” doesn’t provide the novice viewers any idea. Tracks- deep slicing or slits in the rubber track. Metal where the sprocket meets the track could be missing or worn out. Is the track loose? Idler wheels/bearings- are they seized, do they pop & grind when its turning. Sprocket, is there gear oil leaking behind the sprocket, are the tooths worn to a sharp point or lots if thickness in the teeth. Hydrualic, are they leaking, is there a collection of dirt around a fitting or seal from leaks. Is the hydrualic cylinder pitted from rocks/damage. Has the boom been greased, i like to see a boom covered in grease splatter knowing its greased often. Pull the air filter, look in radiator, how much dirt is plugging them to indicate maintenance. Etc etc
