I would trust paper dictionaries from before 2010. Digital dictionaries have changed definitions of words overnight on multiple occasions to push left wing narratives. The word vaccine is one example. As recent as may 2021 a vaccine causes immunity. When the Covid vaccine was proven do not cause any immunity the definition was changed to cause an immune response. The addition of this word completely changes the definition and gaslights people into thinking vaccines never caused immunity. It also sowed distrust in tested and proven vaccines. There are more examples of this happening, this is just and easy one to point out and understand how this change caused major distrust of vaccines and doctors in the last few years.
