Should I limite break ships to max before making it ultra rear so I don't have to spend a UR bullin?

A good rule of thumb for mob fleets is to get rid of mobs as fast as possible. That's why the French or Italians are pretty good at it with their pre-loaded backlines.

What do I do in those kill all enemy missions when my mob fleet inevitably runs out of ammo and starts do less damage? Do I keep using them anyway?

I'm gonna retrofit Unicorn, Helena and Ark Royale next now, i already did retrofited Portland and Laffey by now and I'm at commander lvl 55 with lvl 85 ships on 7-4

Mob fleet: Prince of Wales, Alabama Flagship, Unicorn, Phoenix tank, Z46 cuz waifu and Montpelier for more survivability. Boss fleet: Amagi, Mikasa Flagship cuz waifu, Taihou, Mogami, Hatsuharu, Kawakase. Amagi and mikasa just wipe all pre-boss ships and then Kawakase+Taihou instantly delete every opponent except for the boss and leaves them at low hp and Amagi instantly finishes them off with her 40% dmg buff from mikasa.

Great vid, still highly relevant up to this day! Two small things to add: Won't say that buying gem books in the store is a good idea (and never refresh using gems), and for the white/blue tech boxes - late game they could also be backup coin reserve. Oh and don't forget to refresh the OPS shop for more gold plates and goodies -> the refresh is in GUILD TOKENS instead!!

I know I'm 10 months late to this video (congratulations on 1k subs btw) but for some reason in my game it won't allow me to retrofit my ships. For example I'm trying to do Shouhou. I have the duplicate, she's over level 85, fully limit broken and the rest of the tree is fully upgraded. But for some reason it won't let me do modernization for her. It doesn't even show me I need the duplicate. My profile is at level 57. Is there something I'm missing?

I'm late and I'm working on getting Anchorage to dev 30 as soon as possible (currently @ dev 21). Aside from my USS bias; she's a really good unit. I've had Hakuryuu & August Von Parseval. The latter I use for my Odin grind. She's kinda meh but it's to be expected (Dev 13). Hakuryuu I have yet to use (Dev 17)

Wish the wiki had the ship drops listed in a stage, as a new player the gear seems worse than farming world 3 for the A stages, so I'm thinking the event is a pass for me.

Most of the beginner guides for this game feel like they're made for veterans so that they can comment about how well made the guide is, this guide included.

Whenever it becomes possible to have ships consistently fire/launch every 15s, Helmet becomes really good. As of right now she unfortunately doesn't work the same as OG Helena when it comes to the debuff timings with OG Helena triggering at 16 > 36 seconds and Helmet triggering at 15 > 30 seconds with Eagle Union Gear. She does make more sense to me on 20 seconds mode because of this. She also adds more survivability thx to her skills. Making Azuma or Drake tankier seems pretty good to me as well. Also herself when one runs both Helenas in the same fleet.

Helena meta be OP. My level 120 dev 30 Azuma at 200 affection with all equipment at +13 still dies with 20 seconds left

Just some feedback. As a brand new player, I struggled to follow this video with it being just a long stream of the title screen, with no "chapters" or onscreen guidance to accompany the advice. The tips are helpful, but I struggled to understand a few things you were talking about without any visual representation to accompany the tip. It's also super difficult to come back to the video and re-listen to a specific tip without any timestamps or screencap that associates with the tip itself.

Hey man, just wanted to let you know just how much your guides have helped me out in Azur Lane, it's been incredibly helpful. You deserve a lot more subs. Keep fighting the good fight helping new players, I'm sure they appreciate it just as much as I do.

I'd like to add one more advice to the list: don't sleep on the Guild shop. You can access it even if you're not in a guild, and it has some of the best characters in the game: Helena who is pretty much a must-have for serious fights, healers Shouhou, Unicorn and Arizona, as well as just solid all around general purpose workhorses such as Phoenix and Cleveland. All of the aforementioned girls can be obtained via map drop and builds (except for Helena, I believe), but it might be worthwile to grab them ASAP in the shop and if you get their dupes later - you'll just have free copies for limitbreaking and/or retrofitting.

1. "It doesn't give good resources." Stop bulli-ing the Bulli! 4. What I also would recommend is staving off level 100 on your first ship till you can level 1 or 2 more instantly. Massively losing the speed out of your commission gathering since 3 level 100 missions spawned was a reeeeal pain. Also losing my fresh level 100 to go on those.
