About VELLO
VELLO is a producer of functional, lightweight and stylish mobility products. Born out of the founders' desire to combine innovative technologies and minimalist design to tackle the challenges faced when navigating the modern cities.
The journey started with VELLO bike, an elegant, lightweight and agile bicycle with a specially developed and patented folding mechanism. In 2015, VELLO bike received one of the highest distinctions in the design world, the Red Dot Award “best of the best”. This was followed in 2017 by the European Product Design Award, the Good Design award and in 2019, the Austrian Design Award and German Federal Prize for Ecodesign. Klasse! Endlich etwas, was wirklich praktikabel ist. Die riesige Carbobikes der Konkurrenz finde ich sonst viel zu sperrig, wie Container-Schiffe. Für mich ist das Titan Bike sehr interessant, wobei ich glaube, dass es in einem Kombi-Kofferraum leider nicht passt(notfalls natürlich). Es würde mich interessieren, ob jemand das Bike bei voller Auslaustung getestet hat, also vorne eine Bierkiste und hinten 100 Kilogramm Gepäck. 🙂 Браво Вальо!

It helps me get to work on time every day since I'm able to fit it inside of public transportation rush hour. The price is great too, people are always shocked when they ask me how much I paid for the fold up and I tell them "200". It's easy to fold and installation when it ships is insanely easy. All you have to install when the bike arrives is one foot pedal, everything else is done for you. I do recommend you carry some sort of wrench to tighten any loose screws on the handle bar and seat whenever they get a little bit loose. Other than that I think it's a fantastic bike. Easily fits in the home, can fit inside a car trunk and can even fit in subway rush hour.

As a Vello Bike+ user in South Korea, I wanted to express my appreciation for creating such an outstanding product. The Vello Bike is truly the most compact and versatile 20-inch folding bike available today. I like my Vello Bike more than any other bike brand in design and functionality. It was an excellent choice even for the challenging urban road conditions with steep inclines in Seoul. The Vello Sub seems to be a very durable cargo bike as well! I am grateful for your continued innovation and dedication to pushing the boundaries of what the bicycle can achieve.
Nichts für blutige Anfänger, hier kann man einiges falsch machen. Ich hätte mir ein paar Detailaufnahmen von den verwendeten Schrauben, Muttern und Unterlegscheiben gewünscht! Auch die Kontaktpunkte an der Gabel waren nicht ganz klar, da die Bremssattelaufnahme im Weg zu sein scheint. Auf der Gegenseite befestigt man die Strebe an der Rückseite des Kunststoffhakens, richtig?

Zehus, unfortunately, has the poorest most unhelpful customer service. Their claims of designing a product to stop thieves are a lie. They would not help me find my bike when stolen and withhold information about the location of my own property for no reason.

Sometimes, it might not legally be possible to pass information to you, in addition to that, if the person who stole your bike never logged in to the app, it unfortunately is not possible to track locations. Are these electric bikes ?
No, they are not. Vello offers a lot of different bikes - with and without electric assist.
