unfortunately i had some issues with my GoPro Hero 8 :-/ many laps were not recorded... but here is one with traffic and a bit rain at Hohe Acht. My 2020 highlight was to get some jump pictures from Planzgarten :-) Setup: Nankang AR1 tires, KW Competition 2A Suspension , K20A2 Engine, LSD Gearbox

first time Nürburgring after K20 Swap. Was a nice and calm drive with some traffic but still the laptimes are going strong down comparing to the B16 engine. TOYO R888R tires, KW Suspension , K20A2 Engine, LSD Gearbox

went close to the Nürburgring to pick up an K20 engine and decided to take one lap with moms car. The Engine is of course safetly fixed in the trunk. It was very cold and rainy so the track was slippery like hell and the BMW's where driving very slow.

This is why the CRX is so legendry. The power to weight ratio and handling is extraordinary.
The crx also has good genes. But that will never make the car go fast. I like it when these vehicles are preserved. In order to drive it fast you have to change a few things. I've had the car for 20 years. I tried a lot, did a lot wrong... an eternal game. Persistence pays off at some point. It's a question of how much time you give it.
@@andrel.8861 Agree, most of the CRX that are used for track have only the bodycar remaining everything else is changed and swapped to get better performance and handling.
So true! I had a SCCA ITA/HC4 prepped 88 CRX Si and it was amazing how many "supercars" it would dominate at local tracks like Laguna Seca, Sonoma and Thunderhill. I still have the dyno chart for that car and it had a laughable 121whp/113wtq, but that's all it needed. I can only imagine how fun some of these newer B18/B20/K20 swapped CRX's are to wheel!
Makes me wish I could take my FN2 for a ride on circuit someday, definitly too powerful for public roads to enjoy it fully

I have welded plates in the oil pan. Just like the complete oil pans are also available from Moroso.

This is one round of many. of course the k20 can be faster. It's a hobby that we share together. And a little more relaxed time can be a good thing at the #nürburgring ;)

Hi, do you know what is your car's power to weight ratio?
The crx is calculated at ~5.6 and the ej qoupe comes to ~4.375
What is tyres on EJ6? Brand, size and pressure?
205/45/16 ar1 with hot 2.1

Thanks. the car is very light. ~900kg. The EJ will have +250kg with a passenger. the engine has 245,000 km. no changes except for a light flywheel, ek9 pulley.

Absolutely epic lap! 👍 Horsepower is great for going in a straight line but add a few corners and it becomes less and less important.
I think it’s only the likes of UA-camrs who are putting “the worst” type R by no means is it a bad car it’s ten times better than most others out there regardless.
It's hands down one of the best hatchback ever made, fun, reliable, first time behind the wheel you already feel like you drove it for years, and the sound !

The FN2 is the best hot hatch for the money
my least favourite generation of civic but still awesome. great driving too. your confidence at high speed shows how well the car handles.

Hey Bernardo, thats hard to say because driving my k20 and beeing passenger in the k24 is a total different feeling. Hopefully this year we be able to do a ride with both cars 👍🏻
