i tried to do it and immediately couldn't because my b term was halved to 5.5. Why can I never get this subject. Also it stops working when a>1 which makes it more or less useless for DP math :(
Oh 🎉
Great
Tf bro. You are good.
is this fundamental or advanced
This is what are taught in high school in India
more complicated than it is meant to be
I was taught that dy/dx is a tengent, not a surface?
I think I’m not understanding… so each time you can split the middle x in half and (8x so (4-u)(4+u) = last number in quad equation) and continue on like that?
Sqrt of 4 is only 2. x2=4 has two answers being a second degree (2 & -2).
I'm waiting on her busting open her fountain pen and showing us how it works...
00:02 Factor any quadratic equation using a specific method 02:02 Finding two numbers that multiply to 899 and add to 60. 03:53 Factor quadratic equations without guessing 05:35 Factorization of quadratic equations explained with examples 07:10 Divide both sides by 2 to simplify the equation. 08:53 Finding numbers that add and multiply to given values helps solve quadratic equations. 10:36 Factor any quadratic equation using the technique of breaking apart sum and product 12:16 Babylonians used unadding method due to base 60 and lack of times table memorization.
This is such an elegant presentation. Thank you! But now I need fancy pens to work my math problems. Also an elegant lamp and desk. An euphonious English accent would be nice too.
Thank you! 🙏 Amazing!
Hannah. Was sure you would get me further than previous attempts but failed again. I need to know WHY not WHAT. 71 next birthday. It is not going to happen . It took ten years to get vectors.
Halfway thru and she skips some N and says "sorry". Well, I must have a gene that prevents me from learning calculus. So many questions that they just assume you know. But I can't figure out what I'm missing that makes this so opaque. I was good at Algebra when I was young too. Just as an example : Why do I need to know the area under a curve. Is there some real world example that would help me picture the purpose of all of this?
her handwriting for a tv personality is horrible and gave me headache
I love it, your knowledge in calculus is fabulous
Simply good, thanks for sharing
(30-u) (30+u) = 899 Fkkk this is easy, my whole life i always hated factorisation😢😢
What happens if the term in the middle is an odd number?
what he is doing is actually completing the square lol 😂
What about when the coefficient of x is 13? Like x2+13x+34
Does not work for any quadratic. Even simple quadratics like x^2 + 7x + 12, the method simply falls apart.
Thanks British Jessica Chastain.
"It actually requires almost no memorization" Me a month later: I have to watch this video again. Still love the video and the method though.
What if the sum isnt an even number?
What's this genius guy's name? Please answer must 🙏🙏
What if the middle number is an odd number?
I appreciate this intelligent woman, but I still cannot see how anyone can live by making things unnecessarily difficult. Meaning, to write a simple "x", she first writes a backwards "c", adjacent to a forwards "c".
Where I come from, it's common practice in maths to write x in a 'curly' form to distinguish it from a multiplication sign. Try writing x multiplied by x.
@@allanhetherington4224 Well I value my time too much to be playing around writing a single character the hard way. That method would drive me nuts.
I dont know but this is entertaining😅
Am I confused I thought this was black widow.😭😭😭😭😭 oh god I need to go to bed.
Half of the method is taught in school that sum & product thing. But didn't know the next step of finding the numbers. One of the method i use for finding such two no. is by prime factorisation(incase the no. is big otherwise it's easy to find the two no. in mind without writing it down for eg the first eq. i got 31 and 29 instant) but does it really have edge over traditional formula solution. I doubt it
Thank u so much ❤
What makes a serial killer? The abuse doesn't explain it, but it's definitely a factor. I think the abuse only contributes to the development of the method of how the killer abuses his victims, but abuse is not the de facto cause. Many serials have had a head trauma, but not all. Head trauma is a major contributor, but it's not the definitive answer, either. I say the development of a serial killer is a combination of genetics and environment, and I'd lean more to emphasize the genetics. Most of the serial killers are born to be killers. So, what's common among them? Well, at least the lack of empathy. They understand empathy, but they do not experience it themselves. Narcissism is surely required to take someone's life. Violence and killing are their means to feel superior, to have the utmost control of deciding the fate of their victim. That feeling is their drive. So, they're not emotionless. They do have horrible emotions. If it's in the brain, why is it, that there are no structural findings in the autopsy reports? They seem to have normal brains. Well, we cannot see any difference between a healthy brain and the brain of a seriously depressed individual. It's something we haven't discovered yet. I'd say a chemical imbalance. But where does that imbalance originate? Now, I'm not a scholar of psychology or anything. I do think a lot and this is my assessment. You can agree or not, I don't care, but this is my theory, and I'm sticking with it. ☝🏻🧐
🎉🎉🎉🎉
Nope -still don't get it and I trade options so I'm used to all the variables and volatility
BRO I REMEMBER WATCHING HIS LIVESTREAMS BACK IN COVID19 CUZ MY MOM FORCED ME TO. OMGGGGG
Rigorous derivation! Thank you! A function for Area! Deep stuff! Love mathematics!
useless method. 899=900-1=30^2-1=29.31 and -29-31=-60 obviously. If you go thru all this time consuming calculation, why dont you just apply the quadratic formula?
Sir what if the middle term is odd
Really good video, I always enjoy your content. In your example you should have used x^2 + c, the c's would have cancelled, but I believe they should have been there in your example even if we don't usually do it. Also when you did the limits you didn't really deal with the +1 in each limit. i think it would have been better to have divided each term of the numerator by the N and then just evaluate 1/N as N tends to infinity.
This is excellent if you already understand calculus! If you don’t it’s total gobblygook. Sorry miss but you totally rushed the student in language only the initiates understand. As such they already know this! Thus pointless lesson. But good for colleagues to show your prowess!
This is basically the pq formula.... No magic and no "forgotten technique"
Hardly fundamental or obvious.
Zzzzzzz......
Apprentice
What a joyous and patient explanation. Brilliant!
Masterclass presenter.
He's so damn happy
