Gen medicine has no limit if you run your own clinic... Or do ss and run your clinic 3) abroad opportunities nil for both... You have to pass that country's license exam 4) difficulties more with gen med... Less with radio as such... But again if u do dmrd then less exposure to ct mri... So less chances of job in corporates

@@Kamaldawww yes your all points are right... So final decision will depend on your interest only.... Earning wise both will pay you good... for radio in your scenario (dmrd +pdcet + dnb = 5 years minimum...) For gen med (3 years are enough if you are in a town or small city... 7 years (dnb + neet ss + dm) if you are in a big city with lots of md medicine already working...

@@Srvjq123 if this was your first attempt... Then you should give one more try... Family medicine is fine... But now it's time for superspecialities... Specially in cities... If you want to work as GP in small towns then FM is fine... But since this was your first attempt... So my suggestion is that you should give one more full hearted try... All the best

@@haarisahmed9205 you can do ss in all adult branches except gastro.... In pediatric ss branches like neonatology, peds cardio, peds neuro, peds gastro/hepato, peds pulmo, peds critical care

@@Hematoxylin-gw5nt yes... But you might have to pay seat leaving penalty bond if you want to leave your diploma seat and join md/ms after clearing neet pg... You are not eligible to join any dnb course for 2 years after joining nbems diploma

@@varunkumar5734 pdcet exam consists of questions only from subject of your diploma speciality.... Obviously basic sciences will come from that speciality (like in pediatrics they might ask brain structures involved in Wilson's).... But it's not like that you need to study anat physio biochem....

@@zulpeamit1998 there is no such rule... You can immediately appear in pdcet exam once you finish diploma... But the issue is that all the process of pdcet exam , counseling and joining takes 6 months to 1 year

Earlier when there were mci recognized pg diploma seats... Then diploma guys were allowed to do md in 2 years.... But now since diploma is recognised by nbe... So i dont think any college/university will allow md for 2 years... Pdcet is best option after diploma... Coz secondary dnb is of 2 years only
