Richard... this was great! I was blessed to have a tour hear in late december '23 and was quite impressed with the farm... and fell in love with the mesquite seed flavored vodka. felt kinda like drinking liquid pumpkin seeds.

My favourite whiskey! Great idea to pair it with earthy tea, my first time having Laphroaig was in Finland many years ago and we also paired it with Pu Erh! Great memories
For anyone grossed out by tasting with your fingers, this is alcohol straight off the still, its a high enough ABV to kill off any germs. Its a standard practice and I can promise you your favorite distilleries do it too. Had a great time drinking with you guys, already looking forward to my next time I'm back in town.

Why? 1, alcohol is literally self sanitizing. 2, he (atleast) used a different finger every time. 3, most alcohol production facilities do a special run at the end of production to sanitize and remove any bacteria or particulates. You'll be fine, grow up.
