What a fascinating and unusual looking car. In terms of looks, it's like a cross between a VW Passat MK1 and a Renault 20. But that's where the similarities end. Totally unique. German looking, but with French quirkiness.

It's sorta cool. Looks muchly like a 944. Even if I was stupid wealthy I dont want it because there are zero parts and even less than zero people who could fix it. Nice static display tho (like an old steam engine). 👍

Tatra was probably the 3rd car manufacturer, after Mercedes and Peugeot. They started to build cars in 1897. VW Beetle is actually a copy of pre 2ww Tatra. Tatra 613 was a great car in 1973, unfortunately the communist government killed the car company, they forced Tatra to build semi trucks for Russia, the passenger car production was suppressed. So the Tatra 613 did not develop and in 1990 it was already an obsolete car. Tatra tried to make Tatra 700 in 1990, well it was already too late, too expansive and did not compete good any more. Tatra 613 was used also as a pace car in F1 in 1980es. The gear change did work good, just this tested car has some issues - the gear box is in the back and when it is not adjusted correctly, it makes problems then. The engine sound is great, though it does not sound good in the video. Check the sound in this video: ua-cam.com/video/Q9DsgvF7hQs/v-deo.html It sounds somehow between old Porsche 911 and old US V8 engine. Unfortunately Tatra cars are dead. Tatra still does produce semi trucks, mostly for off roads. Well this company was famous for a good passenger cars in the history.

This is a nicely done video using drone view. I think this car is constantly increasing in value. I wouldn't drive it on public roads because many crazy drivers might smash into the car. Better keep it at a safe place.

Much prettier but almost certainly far less reliable than my 1974 Mazda RX-4 13B Rotary auto that I bought as my first car in 1976 for $AU2,200, which was half its original sale price. 85,000 trouble free kilometres over 5 years for me (taking it to 108,000km) before selling it on. Still remember its swift performance for the day and the joy of its high revving rotary. Loved that car, but it did consume a 5L V8-like 17l/100km!

I had the rare honour for my 21st birthday present in 1974 here to drive the new fuel injected Right Hand Drive SM owned by a neighbour who lived up the street, here in Sydney, I had a GS... as did my dad. It was a mind-blowing experience... The closest I came to ownership was a new 1978 CX Prestige EFI 5 speed with leather. It's self centring steering had 2.5 turns lock to lock v the SM - 2 turns. The CX missed out on the brake button - the brake valve was disguised as a pedal.

Tatra is undoubtedly a nice car, but outdated. After all, the 603 model was produced from about 1956 to 1975 and the 613 to 1990. Western industry already had completely different cars. The 613 is a beautiful car, but it was produced earlier

My first car that i bought on my own was tatra 613 back in 1999 as a 20 years old guy and i'm very proud of it. Got holes in exhaust and the sound was incredible. As the best amercan cars

The drone footage is really nice, it dramatically improves the video production quality, with a very distinct third perspective, besides the typical inside view and walk around views... Nice work.
