Thank you stopping by. This is about my journey as a professional detailer. Detailing is a passion of mine. So most days it doesn't feel like i'm working. When I first started detailing and discovered events like Mobile Tech Expo my world changed. Everyone I meet in the industry was just super cool and helpful. I would exchange numbers with them and asked if i'm stuck could I reach out. Everyone person was like anytime brother! Amazing people.
So I started this channel to help pay it forward. When I can and working on a client's car I try to grab my iphone, tripod and film something i can share with y'all. I hope you enjoy my videos, I try to make them short, sweet and interesting with a fun vibe. If there is a product you want me to review and a demo to show you please leave a message in the comments. I reply to everyone I get.
Thank you for your support. Stay safe and I will see you in my garage.

I used it today on my headliner it worked great on the tea that got on the headliner when my dog split it while jumping in the car . Excellent product! For my use !
Also is the Fuel machine your choice over FLEX and Rupes?
I love my Fuel. I really enjoy the cordless over all. I love RUPES and their new cordless is really amazing and super light. Comes with price tag. Im happy with my fuel and will be using it for a while. I tried but never really used the Flex. If you're looking for forced rotation check out the Dynablade, I tried it at MTE, really smooth. www.detailedimage.com/Dynabrade-M138/Renny-Doyle-Series-DB8-Polisher-P3255/?PMax-Customers-Only&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwlvW2BhDyARIsADnIe-IdjC-PCrEDuDa4n7mHoEouxLSNeOC2IAudyzz6BUAeWu3foUVl5QwaAsDQEALw_wcB
what brand of light is that please/
Thx for watching and the question. The lights in the video are scangripes. Check out the NEXT led, great light and super well priced. I have two and love them. FAB has a great video on them as well. Here is the link for them. fabdetailsupplies.com/collections/lighting
Are you kidding me? Should you not be testing out a trim restorer on some faded trim that needs to be restored? So we can see if it works?
C4 RUINED the trim on my truck. Bed rails are spoted white and look like shit. Worst product. Im not the only one others have had this issue to.
Wow really, sorry to hear that. I have applied this product hundreds of times and never had an issue. Can you tell me how you cleaned and applied the C4 ( in the sun, did it rain shortly after applying, etc) ? Did you contact Gtechniq about this issue? My first thoughts are the white spots are due to some previous product that wasn't fully removed in the cleaning process and it caused a chemical reaction to turn white. Thank you
@@detailersgarage to be completely honest with you, I had everything all wiped down. Yes I did do it outside. There was no rain or anything like that. But if you Google issues with this product, there are multiple forms with people having this exact issue. I did it on my mirrors and it turned out perfect but on the bed rails and on the back tailgate it absolutely destroyed it. I have to figure out a way to get it off or reapply some type of a dye on it to get it to turn black again. Otherwise I'm forced to replace it
I will say though the c2v3 is probably the best stuff I've ever used so that's why I was super confused when I was having an issue with the trim restore. I'll have to test it out on another vehicle in another spot where it's not so noticeable.
@@fmfpower20 I see, thank you for the information. I was never aware of these issues. I will do some digging around and see if I can find out some information about this. If I get anything helpful I will definitely reach out to you. I talk to some gtech installer buddies to see what their thoughts are on this as well. The mirrors were a different plastic and it accepted it well while the others didn't. Are the mirrors more the smoother type of plastic and the bed rails are more the texted type of plastic?
@@fmfpower20 I agree 100%, love C2V3. I try all the hyped products and some are very good. But year in and out I always go to the C2V3. Some people complain it's only rated for 6 months ( they were the first many years ago to have this type of product and all these later everyone started to catch up to them). I think that's funny people only do it once and then not again for 6 months lol. Another product I use a lot is the Cherry Flash from Malco. Amazing and underrated product. Carnauba-synthetic mix. It also works better on older not as well maintained cars. They should be coming out with V4 later this year or early next year. Can't wait to see what they improved on.
Hi, I love your video! Very informative. I just purchased this Milwaukee polisher which is my first polisher. However, it feels a little bit too heavy for me and gets more expensive with two batteries than the corded Rupes Big foot Mark 15. So I am planning to purchase the corded Rupes 15. Have you ever tried Rupes Bigfoot Mark 15? Is it as heavy as Milwaukee? What would you recommend me as a first polisher?
Thank you for watching, your kind words and question. Are you a DIY or looking to do this for money? What type of buffing are you thinking of doing? The cost of the machine itself is not bad. The batteries are pricey but you can find deals and coupons. It's definitely a heavy unit, you could save some money and weight by going to a smaller battery. You will get less run time but save some weight and costs. Yes LOVE Rupes polishers. There new cordless machine is amazing but comes with a price tag. The Rupes machines are very light compared to this machine. I got used to the weight and when I buff I use the Milwaukee 98% of the time. For a first time polisher I would suggest two units, Griots Garage G15 Long-Throw Orbital Polisher, and new to the scene but with amazing costs and reviews is the Liquid Elements. I have purchased this polisher but havent had the time to use and make a review. You can find Matt 's videos about it. The Rupes is an amazing, balanced and well made machine. I think if you wanted to save and step up into the Rupes both of these options will get you on the right track. Hope this helps and if you have more questions please feel free to message me. www.obsessedgarage.com/products/liquid-elements-t4000-5-inch-polisher?srsltid=AfmBOoqbmIZNaSl9BSxS5Eh_3lDIsEFBq--BKBCCjNkot-ts7Hap7HN3
@@detailersgarage@detailersgarage I appreciate taking your time to answer my question! I am a DIY. I am planning to work on scratches and chips on my car and my family's with this polisher. I will definitely watch your video of how to use the Dr. Color chip kit as well. I saw you purchased the cordless Rupes 3 months ago. Do you find yourself using Milwaukee over Rupes for the most of time? If the scratch isn't deep, do you think polishing with compound will fix it?
But Halo is for PPF isn't it?
Thanks for the question. That is correct HALO is for ppf. The hood is wrapped so I used halo for that and Ultra on the rest. White is not the best color to show off on video.
products lol
they do make some amazing drobucts
Cool video. Looks to be very similar to the Rupes yellow wool pad. The combo with the AMMO buffing liquid looks to have a lot of cut!
Thank you for watching, great call. Larry went to Rupes to custom make these products. Yes they work really well. Larry is a smart guy who knows his stuff very well.
@@detailersgarage thanks for the info. Does Rupes make the buffing liquid as well?
@@c6z061 Yes I would think so Sir. As you know Rupes is tops in the industry on everything they do so would only make sense.
Is this safe to use on plasti dipped wheels?
I think there's a typo for ASMR. Good video tho
Thank you for watching! I will look into that , thank you Sir.

Thank you sir!
U couldnt have picked a better car to make a video on? Thing had dents and digs and chipped paint that was dumb
Thank you for watching. I hear what your saying but what's the difference Sir ? The paint was crap and it was showing the results using the Intermediate pad with two different types of products. I try to make videos with black or darker painted cars to show the difference more clear.

Thank you Sir!! Hope all is well brother
Never gave the update of these which one lasted longer?
Thank you for the follow up. The C4 lasted a little longer. But the truck wasn't used as much and had a mild winter. I did get some footage, I will go back and see if I can locate it. Im going to be making another one soon with 4/5 products on plastic panel and leave it outside & in the sun all summer. I think that would be a great real world test & I will definitely be staying on top of that one for follow ups. Hope you had a great weekend!
Been looking for a video about this product forever, thank you. I think I’ll get the gallon on Amazon, I really like tec 😊

@@detailersgarage are there hearings?
You don’t use no panel wipe or IPA after? To see the true results? Just wondering.
Thank you for watching and great question. Yes, depending on the job at hand. Multi step correction, preparing for ceramic coating yes always. 1 step enhancement detail no. This product is clean as far as fillers and doesn't add any protection as its not an AIO (all in one). For future videos will do the panel wipe, good call thank you Sir.

What if jescar is really Koch chemie private labeled ?
Thanks for watching and your question. Close from Germany but not the same company. This is part of what the owner of Jescar wrote about the connection. Mr Silver and his son are both great guys! "Jescar has been the representative and importer of Menzerna products since 1978 for the North American market. Jescar has been supplying buffing and polishing products and supplies to industrial finishing market such as furniture, musical instruments, metal finishing, and automotive beginning in 1999. We soon realized that having only a medium compound and a polish were too limited, so we worked with various international chemical companies to develop our own high performance products that were not available from Menzerna. The result was our Power Lock polymer sealant, followed by Paint Refresh detail spray and Color Lock carnauba wax, all sold under the Menzerna USA brand as supplements to the core Menzerna polishing compounds. With the success of these Menzerna USA products and requests to expand the line further, we made the decision to rebrand the Menzerna USA products under our Jescar company name. The result is our new brand name, Jescar Finishing Products. This decision coincided with the new Menzerna labeling program which was necessary to create an international labeling standard that did not exist before." Excerpt from the Jeff Silver Owner-Jescar
You have to burn the compound. Don't wipe it off in the middle
Can i order clearplex roll?
Yes but have to find a distributor which you can find on there web site. Thank you for watching.
No update?
Soon and I will be making another one with a few products and leaving it outside for the winter season. Thank you!
What speed do you use for that ?
Thanks for the question and watching. For this machine I am usually at 4000 or 4400 rpm.
How is battery life on low / high setting for either High Output 6.0mAh vs XC 5.0? Does the motor seem more responsive with the High Output battery?
Thank you for watching and your question. I haven't done a test to check the high vs low durability wise. Either battery will work fine. I think it's hard to tell any difference on the high setting with either battery.
8 month update?
Soon thank you!!
Can’t hear you over the music.
Thank you for the feedback and my apologies. I have worked on adjusting that with other videos. Appreciate it, stay safe.
will them swirls come back do this product just hide the marks
Great question, yes swirls or micro marring will come back over time. It really depends on how its washed and dried. It will happen though even with hand washing. If it's an experienced detailer , good diy or a high end hand wash then you will be safe. The swirls are so common due to the clear coat systems they use today. Thank you for watching
do iit have fillers
Thank you for watching and your questions. Most AIO products have some type of fillers in it. Some more than others. They are great for "enhancement" details. You saw the results you can achieve. The results will vary with techniq, paint type and pad type.
I've tried this product, and honestly, within an hr, it gets dull. Love irion remover, though 😢
Thank you for watching. Yes not good at all. When first applied if you like the glazed donut look its awesome. It rained next day and was gone. I will be making a tire coating video soon. I have gotten up to 6 months of gloss with a tire coating with certain products and proper prep. Cheers
@@detailersgarage how much do you charge for a tire coating?
@@Akg.detailing depending on the size of the tire and how dirty it is. I try for $200 for all 4 tires. Do you offer this type of service?
@detailersgarage no, just cermaic but think I'll add this now. Any product that you like recommend
As an independent glass repair and headlight restoration tech, this looks like a profitable add on service. I fix a lot of chips, and my first one I did after my certification was a Tesla with a windshield replacement cost of $2400.00, kinda sweated that first job but the Glasweld equipment I employed helped me ace the repair. I'd like to look into the Clear Plex, seems to have merit..
Thank you for watching and your comments. Thats great stuff. How long did it take you to become proficient in the repairs? I looked into that as well, the tech behind it seems great. Just never went to the training. This is definitely a great option and worth the cost of protection. Yes Tesla after the repair of the glass is something like over $1500 to reprogram it. That's nuts.
@@detailersgarage Glasweld's certification course took me 5 days and aced the exam, I started repairing glass and took clients for a good 6 months putting myself and skills "out there" sweating every job but relied on my training and even modified a few things to fit each situation (which is different each time). The cert course is worth it but work in the field is better 4 sure. I still get challenged on some repairs and some fill but don't have the "disappear" effect I always strive for, but I am half the price of Safelite and save folks a lot of money.
@@papasquirrel5559 Thank you very much for the info. That's really awesome. I can understand sweating it out until it becomes second nature. Yes lots of money to be made and still giving amazing value and results. MTE is coming up soon, hopefully they will have a vendor or two for repairs I can connect with. I appreciate it brother.
