Returned to the faith after 20 years. Got the NIV life application study bible on black Friday and it arrived yesterday. Super excited to get a better understanding of scripture with the study notes and easy to read translation. I definitely noticed I'm less stressed and much happier after giving religion another chance

All my Bibles and reference books are e-books on my iPad. I use e-Sword, which has many Bible translations, Strongs, commentaries, dictionaries, etc. I have assembled a digital Bible that I can write on and mark however I want. I can add pages, pictures, quotes, stickers - whatever I want. I have a lot of others resource apps including Logos, BibleHub, Bible Project, Enduring Word, step Bible, etc. but my main app resource is e-Sword.

Why are we always amazed when God speaks to us through others? Our women’s Bible study is studying Mary and Martha this year. Last week I watched a video where the creator talked about being a Mary and being a Martha. Today - you are talking about it. I think God is speaking to all the overly busy women of the world. God is so cool!

I love tip #7 Go at your own pace. I feel I’ve tried Bible reading plans and failed because I can’t always keep up with the daily plans. I will go at my own pace. Love your channel.

Just found your channel and love your video. I heard you say you will use your ESV for your daily Genesis to Revelation reading. I wanted to suggest a more readable translation like your NIV. It will help with fast comprehension. NIV is about a 6th grade reading level versus ESV is more like 11th grade. Of course, follow the lead of the Spirit! Just wanted to give the suggestion 😊

I love how excited you are!!! I am the same way. I definitely treated myself this Christmas w/ all the tools. One of ‘em is the Life Application bible! (I gifted the Student edition to my little cousins and loved it so much I got that one too lol). I’m a beginner so I have never read the bible completely through. I have started a 1 yr. reading plan though where I read the OT & NT at the same time {ex. Day 1 is Genesis 1,2,3 & Matthew 1} to give me some structure. I feel you on consistency lol I’m just tryna make it to the finish line. Amen! to good stewardship, I’m believing him for the same {2 Cor. 9-8} in 2025.

What was the name of where you get your prayer journal? I really like your idea of doing a brain dump prayer before starting to study. I wake up most mornings so full of anxiety and fear so a big focus for me in 2025 is learning to cast my worries onto the Lord.

I am going through the bible in 2025 as well! I have subscribed so I can follow your journey. Our women’s Bible study touched on this story last year when studying women in the Bible. This year we are digging deeper into the story. It has been interesting to see who is a Martha and who is a Mary and why.

Oh my gosh! I love this video! I am using the Life Application Study bible for my primary bible too!!! It is my favorite! I am so so glad you are doing this for 2025. I hear so many people say to NOT use it as your primary but I am going to stay in this bible for at least the next 5 years or until Jesus takes me home LOL. I am so excited to see someone doing what I am doing.

I would love to see what you do digitally. My study time includes the audio version of the passage, then go back to the things that stood out and read them in my digital Bible. As I study, my journaling includes a mind map to collect the nuggets but also compare scripture with scripture. Thanks for this video... I subscribed so I can't wait to see more of your studies. 🥰

I am not a new christian but in 2024 i definitely had an awaking that i was very lukewarm. in 2024 i rededicated my life and am 5 days away from completing the bible in a year reading plan! I believe God allowed me to see your video at just the right time in my 2025 planning. He is truly always right on time. I am attempting to deep dive into one or two books of the bible a month reading meditating and journaling and you shared some great tips that i will definitely be incorporating during my bible time in 2025 🤍🤍
