    Wonderful work. Indians are so bright and instead of farmers suicide they have att beautiful future. This is when you are not in the claws of Monsanto, Syngenta and others, with sterile crops and big loans. This video makes me happy!

    what is the difference between natural farming and permaculture?

    • @tomatito3824
      @tomatito3824 Місяць тому

      Natural farming does the absolute minimum and is more natural. It doesn't even weed. Permaculture tries really hard to stop the weeds by using cardboard and compost. It does a lot of work initially to try to have weeding work in the future. Natural farming instead says weeds are not a problem. Permaculture calls itself a scientific design system, and tries to have everything perfectly designed. Natural Farming is against reductionism, and says nature is an infinite cycle of causes and effects, and trying to mess with it is always a mistake . It teaches us to not rely on scientific knowledge, and use intuitive knowledge instead, doing the absolute minimum (sowing and harvesting).

      How did you clay balls work out. Are you still implemetning

    • @tomatito3824
      @tomatito3824 Місяць тому

      @@IshnaNaga Recently I learned that clay balls are not obligatory unless it's too dry or somethinig else happens (like birds eating all the seeds or something). By seeding among the grasses, seeds generally have enough protection from birds and drought. A week later mow the grass and the seeds just grow naturally with the dew or the rains. My wheat grew just fine that way. So I'm more confident now and I'm sowing sunflower and millet right now.

      Please be patient (I say this because it takes time for the soil to become healthy). You may fail once, you may fail twice but you have to try till you succeed. There are a lot of factors at play - soil health, weather, humidity, water, rain, seasons, temperature etc. Please keep all this in mind. I like your approach - try on a small area, experiment until you get it right. Do not lose hope.
