ahhh great video! what i will say is that i 100% recommend the caraval / ouabh series. as someone who's favourite book of all time is caraval, and who loved the caraval series a lot more than ouabh, i would say shut out the criticism and have a good time! don't listen to those people who say to skip caraval and jump straight into ouabh because u need to have the caraval knowledge to fully experience the world of ouabh (as the main guy of ouabh is a main character in caraval if u dont know!) i'm excited to hear ur opinion of caraval because the world is extravagant, magical and the writing is amazing :)))) good luck with ur huge tbr lollll <3

babel is a great book, an amazing one at that, but it is really dense, and I'd say you should at least be interested in etymology/ linguistics to fully enjoy it (the audiobook is really good btw). but if you do enjoy it I also highly recommend the secret history as well
