A hodgepodge of 80s, 90s and early 2000s nostalgia.
I try not to duplicate other videos on UA-cam unless my version is different (such as mine having ads, when theirs doesn't, which usually helps with a more immersive nostalgic experience) or better (better quality video or audio) or if mine is a full broadcast as opposed to a clipped version.

3/26/1999 Live with Regis & Dolly

Live with Regis & Kathie Lee with guest host Dolly Parton. It's missing the intro so I'm somewhat breaking the rules of my Full Nostalgia playlist. Includes all national commercials (I removed the local ads to keep the breaks from dragging too much). Guests : Dustin Hoffman, Ben Savage, Tony Goldwyn, and The Hasty Pudding Theatricals.
1984/1985 CBS Saturday Morning Cartoons and Commercials
Переглядів 22021 день тому
One VHS tape that had CBS Saturday morning cartoons from 2/25/84 & 1/26/85. We lost quite a bit because of copyright claims (3 1/2 hours trimmed down to 59 minutes), but we have a few cartoons and all the commercials along with an In The News segment, so not too bad.

If you were a kid in the late 70s and early 80s I know you remember this. In The News were 2 minute news segments produced by CBS to be shown during Saturday morning kids shows.

To coincide with Dallas Clark being put in the Colts' Ring of Honor, we have the game where he had his highest receiving yardage total. Unfortunately, no commercials or halftime, but we do have pre and post game shows. I usually post much older NFL games which don't incur the wrath of the league, so we'll see if the NFL will allow one from only 15 years ago. 0:00:00 - Pregame Show 0:06:00 - Sta...

4/27/1998 "The Closer" Episode 9 (1998 sitcom)
Переглядів 197Місяць тому
1/2 season sitcom that aired from February to May 1998. Starring Tom Selleck and Ed Asner, and Phil Leeds in one of his final roles. This is the penultimate episode (9 out of 10) titled "The Hand that Rocks the Office." It is missing the intro so I'm stretching the rules for the "Full Nostalgia" playlist just a bit, but it does include the commercials to help with the nostalgia.

I loved the Kristofferson medley. Kenny and Dolly were performing "Islands in the Stream" publicly for the first time, as it had only been out for a couple of weeks, and would soon go on to become the biggest hit of the year not too long after this. Anne Murray and Willie Nelson made a great hosting duo. I think they hosted again the following year, though maybe I'm wrong about that. Seems weird that Reba didn't win the Horizon award. She was a relative newcomer, and hadn't yet broken through, but her talent was already unable.
Just like she did to every guest. Good for you, Tony Randall.
Ah, I vaguely remember watching this game live 😂 I was a freshman in college going to IUPUI. There were some Y2K fears back then…I do remember that.
My dad had a massive heart attack and died just as this game kicked off 😢. I was 15 at the time. He was only 42 and died in front of me and my brother. RIP Keith Mann
Dan McGwire is just so weirdly huge to see playing QB, especially after years of watching Russell Wilson
Flutie 😅
Dilger's success would prove to be a harbinger of how you could beat that great Niners defense. Wesley Walls and then Mark Chmura and Keith Jackson...moveable tight ends would end up being San Francisco's undoing.
THANKS SO MUCH TO THE CHAIR AN OF THE BOARD... WE WILL NEVER FORGET U
BÁRBARA... THANKS FOR SO MUCH
Any interest in the Tucson stop from the Wednesday before this? I worked on that show at part of the KGUN crew and recently found the tape and encoded it.
So glad I found this. What a marvelous tribute to the greatest entertainer and human being. I love you Frank.
Well, Tony Randall doesn’t take fools lightly.
He made a speech once back in the 70s at John Jay College. He's preety much like the characer Felix.

Amazing honor party.
So great! My stars so long ago. Loved this memory!
My idol frank senatra
i liked him better as Quincy
She had that effect on everyone she came into contact with. She was just a very irritating person.
What a shame that the orchestra was too loud and drowned out the vocalists. I'm sure Frank would have not liked it.
He is soooooo knowledgable. Very matter of fact. It was a dumb question. Are you a snob? Is this Morton Downey Jr?
I played in this game😂😂😂😂. I am number 85 on the UofA and my name is Jeff Nadeau
1:35 BULLWINKLE-
We recorded this off tv. I watched a hundred times growing up. Wow.
AMERICA LOVES IDOLATRY TOO MUCH : many of these so called "stars" are slaves of the devil and practitionners of the most despicable humiliation rituals : WAKE UP AMERICA YOU HAVE BEEN HYPNOTIZED WAY TOO LONG !!!
1:01 My Idol Forever (Richard Clark) (DC) Bless your Heart ❤ up in heaven 😇. Thank you for posting this one with the News. 👍😎📼
You're welcome.
@@boseymcwhy Happy Thanksgiving to you and your Family.😎👍
Thank you. May you and yours have a wonderful holiday season as well.
Cool!
Back when football was great
Little did all those country singers know that their genre was at the tipping point. Garth started the tilt and Shania came along and pushed it right over the edge.
The program went downhill after the 2010 edition where they have the stupidity to use the same Hollywood hosts (Fergie, Ciara) and the same Times Square correspondents (Jenny McCarthy, Lucy Haile, Lisa Koshy, Rita Ora) every single year instead of switching Ut up like they used to back in uts first 35-38 years
The tribute to Marty Robbins was so sweet. Gary Morris, George Strait and Michael Martin Murphy were up for new male vocalist. wow. King George and opera singer Gary did okay even though MMM won.
wow. Reba with her original nose. Who knew she'd become such a HUGE MEGA STAR? And George Strait before he became King George. Such a fun trip back to my youth.
Tony went easy on her
Imagine what he'd think of the internet.
There was no way I was uploading a Tom Snyder video at any time other than late night.
Pretty good interview. But, I don't like the interviewer.
Marylin was incredibly selfish and irresponsible.

From Beetlejuice? : ) Hell yes.

Does anyone know where I can find more MTV News clips like this from the 90s?
There are several channels like mine that post old VHS recordings from tv but I don't know if any have what you want. I have about 300 videos in the queue waiting to get digitized and uploaded, and I don't even know if I have any other MTV segments. I think your best bet is just do UA-cam searches for 1991 MTV, 1992 MTV, etc ...
@@boseymcwhy Yep yep, that's what I've been doing. Thanks for the reply!! What is your 300 video project? Tapes you have, or tapes other people have given you?
I have boxes and boxes of tapes that I had in my basement, and from my parents, brother, aunts, in-laws, and other acquaintances.
Tony was brilliant
Peoria.. when you record stop fucking up with the sound 😮... Kathy Mattera was cut off...I noticed This many times... some people don't know how to record 😮
I think you overreacted just a bit there. I do this on my own free time and I don't make a dime off this channel. As to your complaint. Nobody messed up the recording. The people who own the copyright for Kathy's song would not allow me to use it, so I had to cut it out or get the entire video blocked.
This is real country music... not the garbage 🗑️ we have today 😮
Beautiful song by Elton John at Ryan whites funeral
