i always loved the “warmest hellos to the coldest goodbyes” lyric, it can be taken so differently in each part of the musical. the intro with Owen and Curt, that’s a warm hello, Owen’s “death”, a cold goodbye. you can also use the end with Owen turning into a bad guy and the whole “one step ahead!!!1!1!” thing, that’s also a cold goodbye, especially when Curt literally kills him

And to think the guy responsible for all of the things that happened to you is now just interacting with your support/comfort animal is enraging/terrifying. Liam’s acting is amazing.
