Tesla Goes Around to Run Red Road Rage
When the person in front of you stops for a red light and you go around them to run the red light, that can only be intentional.

Please Don't Street Race Road Rage

My friend was killed by street racers. There are safe and fun places for performance driving (SCCA, Solo/Autocross, LeMons/Chump, HPDE, drag strips, hot laps, etc.) without endangering the safety of others.

I did not know half of the story as it unfolded behind me. Amazing piece of work this one is. I was even going the speed limit when the driver decided to pass me, and they took the curve so fast that the tires were chirping.
Cyclists Run Stop in Front of Cyclist Road Rage

They just smiled at me, probably not even realizing that we would have collided had I used the same attitude as they did toward stop signs. Worse than that, what would have happened if the driver coming the other directions also took such liberties? Sorry, but I prefer to retain all rights to my content for now.
Car Cuts off Bike on Path

I don't think the driver even noticed me. It looks like he's looking my way, but obvious that he's talking to his passenger and probably wasn't paying attention to the stop sign or cross traffic. Be aware, be safe!
Oh the Irony Cyclist Road Rage

First, an SUV speeds recklessly down the bike lane (did we avoid a catastrophe?), then a few minutes later someone in a Caddy tells us to get off the road when we were riding legally. FYI this street is 5 miles long with a bike lane most of the way, but not on the 1/10th of a mile where we were yelled at. Sorry, but I do not grant requests to reproduce my content at this time.

The driver made a safe and textbook pass in the next lane over, so I'm not sure what his problem was. We were legally occupying the lane and not even impeding traffic at all. I wish I had handled it more calmly (like the other rider), but I let these things rile me up too easily, probably because it's often a matter of safety. I obscured the other rides' images in case they don't want to be ass...

No checking for traffic, no signal, just swerve into traffic without warning.
Harassment and Punishment Pass Cyclist Road Rage
Переглядів 899 місяців тому
Driver ignorant of the law tries to intimidate cyclist and then close passes when they don't get their way. This lane was not wide enough to share and there was no bike lane. The cyclist was where they should have been both for safety and for legality.

What really concerns me is what would happen if someone stepped off the curb into the crosswalk at that time? They probably be as fortunate.
Sealant Sprays Camera Cycling

Got a puncture and it basically painted the lens of my camera before it managed to seal. Easy enough to clean off after the ride, but thought it looked funny.
Extremely Close Pass Cyclist Road Rage

A large truck starts to veer right and the car behind it decides it's better to swerve into the bike lane to complete the pass instead of applying the brakes and waiting for a safe opportunity to pass.

Driver Needs an Eye Exam Cyclist Road Rage

Driver close passes cyclist, possible punish pass for daring to take the lane and avoid an obstruction which the driver apparently is convinced does not exist. Even if there was no obstruction, safe passing is both prudent and required by law.
Road Rage almost hits cyclist then angry at me for safe driving

I saw a cyclist ahead on the right with parked cars coming up as well. Knowing there was not enough room to share the lane, I signaled, checked, and moved over. As soon as I was clear of the cyclist, I signaled and moved back. Apparently this guy didn't notice the cyclist and almost sideswiped him, didn't notice my signal to move back over, and got mad at me because I didn't read his mind that ...

Red Light Runner Almost Causes Accident
Hi LA Cyclist May I use this on my channel, full credited of course? Where did this happen ? Thanks
ok
Bicycles have the right to remain dead. Anything they say on camera will be shown on Ytube and to their families. They have a right to a hole in the ground, A cross at the scene, and a shitty white bicycle as a monument to the stupidity of challenging cars. If they do not have these things, the state will assign them a hole and the other crap by other cyclists still too dumb to stay out of traffic. LOL Stupid is as Stupid does. This clip has a WHOLE LOT of stupid going on. I was well amused. Found you on a collections video. What happened here is precisely why I sold the motorcycle and have no inclination to buy another one. Bullshit on that crazy idea.
Hi there! We were wondering if we may use this clip, as well as potentially a couple of your other dashcam clips for future videos on our channel? We will be sure to provide on screen credit of course! thank you in advance for your consideration and time and have a great evening!
ok, as long as it's used in full (not "cropped") and credited.
@@lacyclist78 Will do. Thanks!!

@@lacyclist78 Thanks!
Hi, May I have your permission to use this clip in a compilation? Thanks!
Yes you may use this clip if you link to the original. Not much to say: Two cars came by speeding and weaving dangerously through traffic (I assume racing each other).
@@lacyclist78 Sure, Thank you very much!
Hello LA Cyclist,,,,Can I use this clip in my compilation? Any comment what happened? Thank you

Hahaha, "Get outta the road!" What a big dummy that car driver was. Where the heck is that bafoon? In the road.
That looked like a ‘punishment-pass’ What did you do B4 hand that might have provoked this ?
If you watch the video from the beginning, you’ll see that the two vehicles are turning from a different street and this was the first time I encountered them. Seems clear to me that the driver didn’t intend to pass closely, but chose that over slowing down when the truck veered into their lane.
He probably remembered you from a few weeks ago …. #getoffthepublicroads
@@copaloadofthisYeah, maybe he was mad at me for stopping at the stop signs or riding in the bike lane.
@@lacyclist78 …. A cyclist actually stopping at stop signs ? The driver must have thought he/she was hallucinating… The riding in the cycle lane probably just tipped him/her over the edge… Next we will be seeing cyclists do a over the shoulder look-behind and actually give a hand signal… but I guess that’s just a thing of the past…
@@copaloadofthis All of those. I figure the more predictably and safely I ride, the less likely I am to become a statistic!

Hi LA Cyclist, can I use this clip in my compilations? Credited of course (On-screen and link back).
Hello LA Cylist , could I feature this clip on my channel? Any comment? Any updates? Thanks
Dude people do this to me on my electric skateboard and it's the worst. "Go faster" "Dude I'm going 26 in a 30 ON A SKATEBOARD" Their favorite thing to do is cut me off when we're at the end of a block then stop at the stop sign which inadvertently brake checks me.
cyclist is the one needing to pay attention
Hah! More like Sean Sean needs to pay attention. Had I not been paying attention, I would have smacked into the SUV that (1) did not use a signal, (2) swerved suddenly without looking for traffic, and (3) was on his handheld phone. I’ve seen your comments on other people’s videos. No sane person takes you seriously, but thanks for viewing my video. I’m flattered.
@@lacyclist78 amazing how far away the car was when it first pulls out. yet you dont brake until much, much closer. yet that was you apprently paying attention. wrong.
@@seansean9675 The car starts pulling out at 0:21 and you can clearly see my finger grip the brake lever before it changes to 0:22. Go see an optometrist. And you're still ignoring the fact that the driver broke 3 laws and I broke none.
@@lacyclist78 try squeezing the brakes
@@seansean9675 Grip is synonymous to squeeze. Like I said, consider seeing an optometrist. Unless you have any comments about the three laws the driver obviously broke, we’re done here.
actually you were not in the lane. taking the lane means your in the actual travel lane
My tires were indeed over the line and in the travel lane starting at 0:19 (7 full seconds before the car approaches), but yes I probably should have moved over even further in order to control the lane. I was just trying to clear the parked car's door zone and not expecting a motor vehicle to come flying by out of nowhere.
Motorists don’t pay much attention over here either. I guess if you want to take a lane, take secondary position up. Stay safe ❤
Yeah, I guess I should have moved over more so that I could own the lane completely. We have a new law here that drivers must change lanes completely if there is not enough room, but I doubt it will be enforced.
@@lacyclist78 That's a good law to have. Might take a few years to sink in. In the UK, the guidance is that motorists should leave 1.5m when overtaking, but that doesn't appear to have sunk in either.
Hi, can I feature it? Credited of course! And where did this happen?
Hi LA Cyclist, could I feature this clip on my channel? Any comment? Thanks
Hey, this is Revit up. May i use your dashcam clip in next compilation video ? Linked and credited on screen Thank You!
I didn't hear you ring your bell. Maybe they didn't either.
Pretty sure the dog wouldn't have cared if I rung my bell or not, but you have a point. I tend to only ring if the person looks like they're about to do something stupid. It can't hurt to ring it more often.
@@lacyclist78 Ha, I meant the bell would have alerted the person wielding the leash. Pedestrian stupidity and selfishness is rife on shared paths here in Australia. Covid seems to have winkled all the halfwits out of their tv rooms and onto the paths. I ring often and expect people to do dumb stuff. Cyclists aren't much better, imo.
