EDIT: I tried the mod once again with one of my other batteries. Everything seemed perfect but when I placed the battery in the drone to charge it, the battery leds kept flashing over and over. soulvagabond in the comments mentioned a forum where others have tried doing battery mods. My friend let me borrow his SNES Classic to add games to it, unfortunately my backpack caught on fire... Alcohol torch in my backpack expanded from the heat in my friends trunk of his car.
