It is sad to see spectators questioning the credibility of accomplished players when they are struggling to execute and perform because of Potato Starch powder. It really puts a damper on viewer experience in an already depleting audience and interest towards a wonderful and skillful game. I have seen Maria Irudayam played South Zone championships at Youth Centre, Bangalore in early eighties. Suhas Kambli of Maharastra n Sathyanarayana Dilli from TN also participated. The Championship was won by one Ibrahim from Hyderabad. He was a Bangalore player earlier.
