Tear Time again , try not to , can’t help it , especially You Are Love , Played at Our Son’s Wedding , Wonderful Day With a full Brass Band 😂❤
This is wonderful Thank You so much to all concerned 😢❤❤
0:26
Squeak
The band is playing this for all county 2024 and I am trumpet 2
Playing this at lgpe soon
My first solo! Alto Sax 🎷! Special memories!
Mine too! This song was a fav at our school and was played each year. I had the solo all 4 years and our director was really great by letting me play with the phrasing to make it my own.
good god i have to play this in like 2 months at a concert (and im the french horn so that makes it worse) (i have to do that solo like a minute in 😬)
I’m a French horn too and I don’t acc have the band period that plays this so I can’t practice with them it’s actually pain😭
I heard Robert W. Smith passed away recently, I played this song in HS, and it gave me such an appreciation for his work. Thanks for the music Mr. Smith
Good song. Very boring for a tuba player though (literally two alternating notes for over 100 measures
Alto sax here and I’ve been trying to find this 🥹🥰🥰
More people should hear this song, the arrangement is beautiful.
The one little squeak and the percussion not paying attention😂😅
The alto sax part around measure 111 or something is my favorite part of the song.
Maelstrom has to be one of my favorite words
Me and my band play this and we are in 7th grade
I'd been playing trombone for about six months, went to my first college band rehearsal and this comes up. How in Hell do these guys do this, I thought. I learned how eventually--the beginning of a great fifty year career as a pro. But a struggle at first no doubt.
Partituras?
I played this in 1998 and it remains my favorite to this day. BASS CLARINET PART BE AMAZING!!!
I played bari sax but I played bass clarinet in middle school and it’s awesome
Omg we did too. I was a flute and I always think about this song.
2:44 is so amazing
the flute is me and it’s 😩💕🤌
the trumpet is me and i mean 😏😏😎
@@gaiean same as me. The 1st part is definitely more better.
1:02 nah who squeaked☠️
LOLL
Damn she has a powerful voice.
Hello fellow Kadena High School band folk! Baritone represent lol
TC or BC
3:06 this part is just so mezmorizing
I know if you were playing this on 🎺 and it would sound great. I play 1st and it's awesome. Love this song and I am playing this on the arts festival on May 13 2023.
I’m in middle school playing this. The flute part is killing me 😭
What grade? Usually middle school bands opt for the Tempest in my experience. I’d assume you’re in 8th grade, but do take a listen to Into the Storm. It’s like if this song and the Tempest were blended together and set to an 11
@@t-greenrock404I play baritone in 7th grade and we learned this song really well in a couple weeks. We are now playing crush by Robert w smith. Crush is way better
same
I can’t stand the trombone part and that 16 BEAT WHOLE NOTE
@@t-greenrock404or The Great Locomotive Chase. All of them are great pieces and are a testament of Smith’s talent for writing music for all skill levels.
the one clarinet squeak....
my worst fear atm
Bass clarinet part could use “a little more”. still fun none the less.
Interpretation is way off. This is not a pep piece of music, but a scathing view on the perversity of society.
1:55 this part of trumpets is divine
Great! Thank you for sharing!
this song is just 😩😩😩
better than me ill admit that
just not outstanding
1:01 a mood yeah right

This school's bad
I'm the only clarinet in our band and the amount of solos for us is just auuuugh
Same buddy, that's why I'm here.
My fingers are going to cramp so hard during those repeating notes
@@tatertot8778 im playing this piece and once u get it down its no problem
Im in jazz band and I play drums and every year we have like 4 solos and it sucks, I cant imagine wiggling your fingings like that for months on end.
wa wa wa! wa wa wa wa wa wa!
Kool Nick !
1 st Flute part is fun🤣
It is! My HS played this and it's still my favorite
I am playing this for middle school and first chair it is fun
The performers did good, but I felt there ensemble was to top heavy. I play tuba and I was listening for them and I could hear them, but they weren’t as prominent in the recording.
Tb to when it was end of last school year and I was excited abt being a senior little did i know it’d be ruined
i have to play this for my whole school grad bg music for 2019-2020, (i play saxophone) .
This was written for the President of the University of Wisconsin. I played it in the UW concert band in 1963.
1:01 what a mood
tbh
Robert W. Smith must just hate people.
好快!
Moo
Liz Phelan I agree fully
🐮
no
cow go moo me go sad
Oink
Slow and out of tune. 3/10
Wait, where's the percussion? It really doesn't come together without the percussion.
facts
They're there Just very quiet You can hear the snare That shaker thing And that bass drum

@@ToasterStr00dle Why so quiet T-T
