@ It’s tough to see an era gone by but there never could be anything resembling The Beach Boys without the Wilson’s in it. Love and Bruce are not representative especially at their age.

That's amazing. Thank you for sharing that with us. They sound like great guys too ! And it really is about the great music. I wanted to share this to also introduce this to a new generation of potential fans. Thanks again.

They are easy to talk to if you get a chance. I have been lucky over the years. I have been able to meet The Ventures, Jan & Dean and Dick Dale numerous times. They are all willing to talk with fans. Dick Dale even took time to autograph my guitar and showed me how to actually strum like him. During a concert in 1990 in Chesapeake VA, Jan remembered me from a few years earlier at a concert where I was able talk with him and Dean during a rain delay. During the concert he remembered it was my Birthday and sang me happy birthday. That was wow moment. Got to meet the original Ventures lineup at the Birchmere in Northern Va. They were cool. I have been in the right place at the right time I guess to meet these legends. RIP Jan Berry, Don Wilson, Nokie Edwards and Dick Dale. Long Live Surf Music.

he did not write most of the lyrics or sing most of the songs. He did everything possible to stop artistic advancement. this is not the beach boys, its the corpse of mike love and some paid hacks

Mike had to sue Brian to get his name added for being co-writer of many of the BB songs since he wrote the lyrics to many of the songs and Brian the music. It was a combined effort. Brian originally got credit. Who do you think wrote Kokomo? It wasn’t Brian, it was Mike. He wrote the lyrics to such greats as Fun Fun Fun, California Girls, Little Deuce Coupe, Do it again, as well as many more. I don’t understand why so many haters, just sit back enjoy the music and watch music legends. There are many other great bands out there still touring under their original name that may not have all their members and they are doing the same thing. Most people don’t care because they are having fun and enjoying good music.

They are doing just about everything possible to push and milk the Beach Boys legacy as far as it will go...i fear its at the edge of a very big cliff and ready to go over..please take the hint...its not the Beach Boys..hasnt been for ages...please give away....😢

Yup. From my experience, horrible service, food tastes bland and it cost me about 18 dollars per bowl. Just warning other people. The deli is pretty good at falls view.
