Hi, I thought I would spread the word on this cam decompression bolt possibly coming loose. the bolts on my bike were good. and it was a good time to check the valve spec, there is over 10 000 km/6000 miles on this bike.
Dirtbike group ride..they leave me in the dust..🥺

Dirt bike ride in wet sand causes minor Annoyance. .🤬🤬🤬

dirt bikeing and wet sand causes sand to jam up the chain but getting caught in the disc gaurd, this is a common problem with this type of wet sand and continues to be a problem. Other than that it was a great day for dirtbiking.

this is the first night ride with the new Loyo 65 watt head light.. on my ktm enduro dirtbike Wow is it bright , a 100% improvement from the stock headlight.
Dirt bikers don't care about the rain, we ride anyway

your at 100hr and still oem front tire... oh my god, the bike still super clean, u dont ride your bike at all, im at my 5th rear tire and 3rd front, i do trails only. I just find it odd that you are still on the front oem tire, thats amazing, how could u.. lol
That's because I spend most of the time on the back tire😁
I have the exact same bike and Graves exhaust. Never tried it without the insert. Always been curious. Of course video doesn’t really do a great job of showing sound lol

Ive got a graves on my gas gas 700. Its a work of art but taking the quiet core in and out is the most annoying setup of any exhaust ive ever had. Other than that its hands down the nicest exhaust ive ever owned.
I agree with you, I took it out right from day one.
Glad to see people with the Exc 500. I have a 2014 exc 500 and I love it. Trail machine for sure.

How many hp now? 2024 ktm 500 has 64 hp stock!?!
No, the 2022 has 39 hp.. I haven't had it on a dyno but some have claimed 70hp

Only ever had flam outs when the bike was stock, increasing the idle stops then. Never had one after the mods

Dont listen to the haters, some of the comments are ridiculous. I have been riding myself for 45 years, came off an RMZ450 and onto the KTM 500 excf 4 years ago and I love it. The bike is not an MXer but it is plenty capable. It will do just about everything well. Love the videos, keep them coming👍

Typical newbie thought process, the bigger the better. The 500 is a boat anchor. Any current 250 MX model is lighter, quicker and handles so much better.

When I watch him go up the first time.. I knew it wasn't gonna happen and I was saying I would do the slingshot approach just like you did.. I knew you have it no problem with the beast ..awesome climb bud 👍

Whether or not your ears hurt, sustained exposure to >80 db reduces your hgh-frequency hearing. When was the last time you heard overtones of symbols, for example? I've found those tapered 3-step hearing plugs, that conform to the ear canal to be best (most effective); I wash them in hand sanitizer after EVERY use - to eliminate ear infections.
The real secret is in the tail light. If you find it, let it let us know.

Curious on what tires you run, I have a fe501s and i'm torn on what rubber to get. I'm forced to do alot of street but I want something that is going to do well offroad.
Thanks for watching..... I use motoz tractionator/desert on front and rear. There a hard tire so they last a long time for me. I do alot of street riding too.
@@adventureswithkatem Oh cool, I was considering motoz enduro IT for the rear and Pirelli XC MH for the front. I didn't really consider the desert style ones because I thought they might be bad in wet conditions. I ride in ontario canada and its a mixed bag from slippery clay to sand and rocks depending where I am.
Nice I ride in northwestern ontario!... also rode in all conditions but sand is Mr nemesis so I plan for sand

Hey I was wondering what tuner and exhaust you have, also did you change your airbox?
It's all In my older videos, but I'm using the AIM ecu, Graves slip on and the reedles air boot. Worth every penny.
@@adventureswithkatem okay cool thanks, you got the boot from tacomoto or just removed your reeds? I got a fe501s last spring and I'm curious if buying an airbox is worth it
Removing the reeds from the airbox will give the same result as the taco one...but look at it this way, the European bikes don't come with reeds to begin with..

The point is were I'm from riding a dirtbike Christmas Eve is un heard of, normally there is 4 feet of snow and -25 temperatures..
I get a small amount of oil around the crank case breather hose (not enough to leak out of the air box). It’s not the air filter oil. Just wondering if anyone else experiences this? I get more when I ride more wide open desert with higher RPMs.
