I would pay good money to put HWIII in a time machine and book a gig at the fastlane in Asbury Park in the 1990s while the infamous Jim Boone was the house sound guy, just to watch him have a nervous breakdown and be taken away in a straight jacket. PS one of my first jobs was scaring the crap out of people at the Haunted Mansion in Long Branch NJ just before the pier burnt down--hands down best job ever--I would do it for peanuts it was so fun.

I came across this video because it was shared in a HU fan group on FB. I confess that I have no clue who Bobby is, but his enthusiasm and warm spirit is infectious, and this interview has been a joy to watch. He asked the questions that I as a HU fan would have asked. I have a tiny bit of stage tech experience from years ago, and he covered that side of things so well! The technology is amazing! He's clearly got broad, professional band experience with Pantera (I know nothing about them, and I guess that may invite a lot of replies, LOL!), and he uses that experience to bring out the most in his time with Mitch. (I'm delighted to see that our HU guys have Mitch - he obviously takes awesome care of them.) But my hat's off to Bobby for a fascinating interview. I learned so much! I also appreciated the sneak peak of Temka's new tovshuur - wow, what a gorgeous piece of craftsmanship!

Hey Brother it was great to meet you there at the final MAIDEN show in San Antonio. I was the guy (Matt) in front of the soundboard that brought up getting some cigars out to you. The HU did and awesome job saw them in Vegas and SA with MAIDEN. Just got back from the MAIDEN Mexico City show. Keep up the great work.

Saw the HU last month opening for Maiden, the songs were seriously more brutal live than the radio edits. Don't know who was doing sound that night but they had it tight for both bands!

Bobby this series is the best thing I've EVER seen. It's given me a new perspective and ideas of how to setup my bass rig along with other general things, how it's properly done. No one has ever done this. As a huge fan I'd like to know 2 things, 1) how exactly are Rex's pedals routed? 2) what's up with the secret pedals that were always covered? What are they and are they in use? Much appreciated and looking forward to more!

South Austin resident all my life brah!!! Lamb of God is not my band. I tech for them in Lubbock and watched their techs fight each other over a dirty power issue to their PA system!!! Really they had a big fight ! Miller Pro Audio tech from Lubbock fixed their problem and he wasn’t suppose to work that show either…
