Yeah, I can totally understand, and I was like, did I make a mistake? Is the game going to restart from zero because games like this have such hidden game mechanics.

Still, one this stands, This was something you don't usually see in a game. Ingenious!!

For me, it felt like those 4th wall breaking games do something to freak the players out. I thought there was gonna be a jumpscare as the screen zooms in closer with every clap.

Totally understandable, the video has strong symbolism and a very narrow audience. But if you break it down to smaller fragments. There will be some fragment that will resonate with you. For me it was the music.

I actually take back my comment a bit. I turned it off after this for the night and came back to finish it the next day and it kinda grew on me. It is whimsical for sure and does have a place in the games story. I just feel like it was a bit much.

It could have just been that I was in the somber mood for the whole game, immersed in the depressing nature of the story and potent ghostly jazz. It just caught me off guard.

I can get where you are coming from. The art style itself adds to the down tone of the whole game. Do you know there is an alternate ending? Somewhat better one.
