VAST Vermont Association of Snow Travelers

One of the oldest snowmobiling organizations in the U.S., VAST is a non-profit, private group that includes 128 clubs statewide, with over 24,000 members combined. The clubs and their steadfast volunteers, and the landowners that allow riders to cross their land are the backbone of the organization. VAST is responsible for the organization of the sport of snowmobiling, maintaining and grooming over 5,000 miles of trails in the state of Vermont.

Consisting of 127 clubs statewide and 24,000 members combined, the act of volunteerism is what keeps these trails safe and accessible. Responsible for maintaining over 5,000 miles of terrain, the association and its volunteers work passionately to meet the needs of those who depend on them most.
For snowmobilers, winter is a long-awaited season. One that is met with a sense of freedom. Freedom that allows riders to experience beautiful rolling hillside farms, quaint villages and hamlets, and mountain terrain.
Each year, over 9000 landowners generously open their land for riders to use. This amounts to 80% of Vermont’s trail system being privately owned. The genuine and sincere trust between riders and landowners has made riding in Vermont a long-standing tradition... One that is sure to last for years and years to come.

It would be much better if you could select multiple points along the same trail section in the route planner. Like for out and back rides where you are on the same trail more than once. I was trying to make a route and it was unusable
I tried this video with two different iphone versions and it won't open the route in the phone app. #1. It does not automatically open the phone app, which is not a big deal. #2. Once app is open, the phone does not display the green menu bar along the top giving you the option of loading the route. The phone app has a route menu along the bottom, put the emailed attachment is not showing up as a selection. Has anyone used this feature on an iphone?
Hi Bill, This issue should be corrected now. The tutorial and tests were completed with Android so we were not aware of the iPhone issue you mentioned until late December. Someone emailed us (maybe you?) about it. Thanks for the feedback!
So sad about mike..we went to school together when I heard what happened I felt a huge lump in my throat. I knew that him and Sara whom I also went to school with, had just had a baby, I was heartbroken I can not imagine such a tragic loss...so sorry to his entire family and hunter looks so much like his daddy it's unbelievable.
