The one your buddy caught was %100 green sunfish and yours was a war mouth. His green sunfish was huge lol

Carp are omnivores, they do eat some other small fish and snails so they do eat meat, in a way. Yours was a grass carp, they get a lot longer than the common carp we caught awhile back.

@michiganmikeupnorth I made it the handle is pvc pipe and the bar connecting the handle to the shaft my brother got from his job at whirlpool, I have a video on how I did it
