Big Congrats on the 3K David 🎉
Congrats on 3k subs David👍
Congratulations 🎊
Cool Advent calendar David, looking forward to following along, 😎👍
Thanks, Tom! I hope your week is off to a great start. Thanks for watching and for your support, have a great day!
Damn those photo-etched parts were a nice surprise to be included in the box. What do you use to strip chrome from parts? I use bleach but it doesn't always work as well as I'd like.
I use a product called "Super Clean" it's a degreaer that works great 👍 big purple bottle available at most Walmarts in the automotive section. Thanks for watching, and have a great day 😀
During your final thoughts segment at the end of the video, I wish you wouldn't film your hands. I find them distracting.
Thanks for the constructive criticism-I hadn’t considered that as a potential distraction. More importantly, thank you for watching all the way to the end! I truly appreciate that. Thanks again, and have a great day!
Great looking Ferrari David, 😎👍
Thanks, Tom! I really do appreciate that you consistently watch and encourage me. I hope you're having a great day, my friend.
@PlasticImaginationWorkshop Doing great David, enjoy the rest of the weekend buddy, Tom
damn that's really quiet, I can use this in my apartment I guess? I don't want to disturb my neighbors, I'll probably make a booth in my balcony so I don't get paint in my house I'm still scared about the neighbors LOL
It is really quiet, I don't think your neighbors will complain. Thanks for watching and have a great day.
Is the follow-up video still in the works? One of my concerns with the product long term is the battery life. As I understand it, the product won’t work while being plugged in for charging. If the battery runtime of 100 minutes drops very quickly to say 10 minutes after a year’s use, that would be a dealbreaker for me
Yes, I’m planning to do a follow-up video soon, hopefully in the near future. Regarding the battery life, I’ve been using it regularly and haven’t noticed any changes. Thanks for watching, and have a great weekend!
Thank you very much. So interesting video. See you. 😊
Your welcome. Thanks for watching and have a great week.
They need to update the wrinkle tires. The two pieces yes, but also the wrinkles are both for the driver's side. They are the wrong direction for the passenger side.
I totally agree 👍 Thanks for watching, and have a great day 😀
Nice looking hobby knife David👍
Thanks, David. Have a great week!
Wow, this review is timely because i just bought the knife 3 days ago, thanks.
Nice review David, 😎👍
Thanks, Tom. Have a great weekend 👍
Looked like a great time David, 😎👍
It was! Super fun and lots to see. Have a great weekend 👍
Awesome seeing a F117 in other than black 🇺🇸
My ol stomping grounds for 47 yrs till I moved to Missouri
David, My name is Scott Hardin and I am the curator of the USS Silversides here in Muskegon, MI. If you need any specific info on the boat for content, let me know. I'm not sure if you know, but the deck layout of the Silversides actually changed about 8 times throughout the war. Is there a specific time period you are shooting to represent?
Hello, Scott! Thank you for watching and for your comment. If you’re able to reach out to me directly, that would be fantastic. My business contact email is available in the About section of my channel page. I’d love to pick your brain! Thanks again, and have a great day!
I know that Revell has this issue as well, but I tend to see it more in Round2's kits. My current build is the MPC Olsonite Eagle and while fitment isn't much of an issue, so far. The instructions are absolutely horrible. The parts are at least numbered and chrome and non-chromed parts are denoted, however, NONE of the parts are numbered on the trees. This is complicated further by the fact that you can build one of 2 engines and the only difference between the 2 is that one engine is all chrome parts and most of the other one isn't. I get that it's way cheaper to re-pop old kits but, this habit of just pushing out massive numbers of re-pops is, as you've said, discouraging for new modelers. Aside from the issues, your build looks great. I like the blue accent on the cockpit section.
Thank you so much for your comment! I completely understand your frustration-issues like unclear instructions and unnumbered parts can make these builds feel more challenging than they need to be. It’s definitely a common experience with re-popped kits, and I hear you on how it can feel discouraging, especially for those newer to the hobby. Your attention to detail, though, is exactly what will help make that Olsonite Eagle look incredible in the end! And thank you for the kind words about my build! I thought a little color in the cockpit section would add some character, so I’m glad you liked it. Thanks for watching, and have a great day!
Building my 2nd one,,, first one the rear end didn’t fit right. Parts didn’t line up right. Couldn’t even make a good weather junk trek out of it. Thought it was my fault the kit didn’t go together , but I see not. It to bad I like the GMC truck
Hey! Glad to hear you’re building another one! Some kits can be a challenge, so it’s not just you. With a little patience, I’m sure this one will turn out great. The GMC truck is worth it-good luck!
Off to a great start David, 😎👍
Thanks, Tom! Have a great week and thanks for watching.
Looing forward to this series David. Good luck with it.
Thanks, Dan! Me too. Have a great day 😀
I got my this week, for €11,96😊 I see that you put glue on the windows them self does that nit hrm the windows or do you not see glue markt when it dried up? And did you glue the top or just put it on without glue so that the top can be temoved to see the inside.
I'm glad you got one of these, I think you will really enjoy it. Yes, the glue on the windows drys clear. And yes, I glued the top on. Thanks for watching, and have a great weekend 👍
Awesome job
Thanks! Have a great weekend and thanks for watching.
Awesome job
Thanks! Also, thanks for watching and adding a comment. Have a great day.
17:05
Thanks!
Is that logo on the front easy to take off ?
Yes, they can be removed very quickly.
You have made great job on both Huey models.
Thank you very much! And thanks for watching. Have a great day.
The US Army only ever used the short Huey's UH-1B, UH-1C as Gunships during the Vietnam War. The Royal Australia Air Force were the only one's to UH-1D Huey's in Vietnam as Gunship's
I never knew that. Thanks for sharing! Also, thanks for watching, have a great week.

interesting chrome from Ammo David
Thanks, Dan. It works well but, I think I still prefer the Mission Models Chrome. It's just getting harder to find. Thanks for watching and have a great week.
Great video bud. I can't believe you can get that Tamiya extra thin cement to keep things together using it on top of paint. Btw, what paint gun are you using in this video? I assume you figured out that you need to use the TS line of Tamiya sprays instead of the PS line. The PS coded paints are for things like RC cars I believe, specifically for polycarbonate. The TS coded paints lay down perfectly on all model kits
I think the airbrush your referring to is my Badger Sotar 20/20, it's a great airbrush. And yeah, I learned that I used the wrong Tamiya paint. Growing up I never had access to any of these paints and I didn't know about the differences between the TS vs PS paints. Lesson learned, the hard way. :^) Thanks for watching and have a great week!
Nice looking build, gives me some inspiration for when I build mine. Thanks!
Thank you! I am glad I was able to give some inspiration. Thanks for watching and have a great week.
Turned out really nice David, 😎👍✌️
Thank you, Tom! I really appreciate you comments and thanks for watching. Have a great week my friend.
New to the channel great build ! What did you use for hose lines at the back of box ?
Thanks and welcome! I used some scrap wire from a network cable-the size worked well for the scale, plus I have plenty of it lying around. Thanks for subscribing, and I really appreciate you watching. Have a great week!
What filler is this
It's called "Perfect Plastic Putty" fro a company called "Deluxe". Here is an Amazon link to it. Stuff works great! Thanks for watching and have a great week.
Nice shoutouts, I like that bright green and black car on your workbench
Thanks David! That green and black on is my BOSS 351 from Revell I built and reviewed earlier this year. You can check it out here ua-cam.com/video/wcaKhq-os2o/v-deo.html Thanks for watching and have a great week!
i'm not sure it was 1997 I think it was earlier than that, because I bought all the reissued kits when they came out, and I was still working at the deli at the time. The missile was removed due to a lawsuit around the toy that looked nothing like the actual ship, that's where the missile was originally added and the model kit people replicated it thinking they had some news they didn't because nobody talked at that time, the missile parts of the mold were filled in
Yeah, it's a little foggy, but I think it was in the 80's. Thanks for watching. Have a great day 😀
@@PlasticImaginationWorkshop I still have one of those in my garage and I'm greatly regretting not picking up the Mobius kit that came with the pilot. They have no current plans to re-pop them
@@jeffkleist9679 Yeah, I really regret not picking one of them up as well. Hopefully, some day, they will re pop them.

Thanks for watching! Have a great week.
Have you thought about the black, red, blue knights or others?
Yes, at some point I will be building those as well. Thanks for watching! Have a great week.
Wonderful painting and color selection. I have this model so I shall refer to this. And steady hands as yours help make it. Well done you used acrylics? Thanks
Thank you! Yes, they are all acrylic paints. Enjoy building your kit and thanks for watching. Have a great week.
So i bought both the upper an lower box. I use it for my RC trail truck/rock crawlers i keep my repair tools in it and accessories for the trucks. I love how scale it is to my rc trucks an its functional COME ON! Amazing buy 🎉❤
I'm glad you like them. I use mine all the time and they work great on the workbench. Thanks for the comments and for watching. Have a great week.
Do you think I can take the logo off easily
Yes!
I just got this model from a Facebook auction and it was a start build came without box and no engine block how can I get the block or any other missing part missing a front wheel and rim as wheel not sure what else actually the one fro t rim have all tires if there is a way to get them let me know thank you
You can try contacting Round2 (owners of MPC) from their website. They may be able to get you the missing parts. Their web site is "www.round2corp.com/" Thanks for watching!
Iwata makes a nozzle wrench, CLNW-1, that works much better than the itty bitty spanner type that airbrush manufacturers supply. I have one and it fits all the screw in nozzles on my airbrushes. And not one of them is an Iwata! I think your paint sputtering issue may have been that the air pressure was too low. 20 psi working with your Paasche doesn't necessarily mean 20 psi will work with this brush. Try boosting the air pressure and see what happens.
Thanks for the info on the Iwata tool! I definitely need to pick one up. As for the sputtering issue, I thought about that too and even increased the air pressure to 50 PSI, which is the max pressure specified by the manufacturer for this unit. Unfortunately, I still couldn't get it to work with the larger needle-it just wouldn't atomize properly. However, it works great with the smaller needle! Thanks for watching and for your comment. Have a great week!
Will check them out
Dave's "da bomb" 💣😄. Runs a great 'anything weird' group build every year. Will check out The Model Apprentice. I also love seeing younger modellers taking up the hobby.
Another nice build! I recently got this kit as well, hope it comes out as nice as yours.
Hope you enjoy it! Have a great weekend, and thanks for watching!
Great build and good video, but the music was annoying.
Really like that brown leather paint from Ammo. Another excellent build David, looks great.
Thank you, Dan. So far, I have had some really good results with that AMMO Paint. Have a great week and thanks for watching.
